Many students are used to thinking that passing university exams is difficult. But this is not true: there are several effective tips on how to pass the exam without cramming, even if you know nothing. But before we tell you a few secrets, we need to understand a few important points, without which our tips may not work:
- Nothing will work if you mumble, behave uncertainly, constantly doubting and fidgeting. Set yourself up for success, practice at home in front of the mirror. If you are a naturally shy and indecisive person, try to imagine yourself as an actor, capable of performing the tricks that will be described later. The examiner is a person waiting for a straight answer to a straightforward question. But above all, he is a person, so he understands you perfectly (temperament, ego and other pressure points).
- It is good if initially there is a set of certain qualities that will help pass the exam for A. For example, confidence, equanimity, composure, talkativeness, etc. But even the greatest of modest and shy women should not despair.
There are a few rules on how to pass the exam successfully and easily even without prior preparation. Ready to learn them? Let’s go!
1. Don’t Be Silent
No matter what happens in the exam: your tongue is swollen, a fishbone is stuck in your throat, your voice is lost, or something else. As soon as the teacher asks you something, you can’t hesitate, you have to answer something right away.
No pauses! Even profound silences can lead to failure, as teachers tend to perceive them as ignorance or, even worse, doubt. And vice versa: continuous speech of a student convinces the examiner if not of his confident knowledge, then at least of his high level of culture. And sometimes this is enough to pass the exam (and sometimes it is automatic). The exam is like a play.
2. Speak A Lot And Fast
The faster you speak, the harder it is for the examiner to understand whether you’re telling the truth or not. But fast speed sends a signal to the teacher’s brain: wow, he’s confident! Surely he knows the answer, so you can sleep with your eyes open.
There is one catch. Often teachers know about this trick, and they constantly yell at the student and ask him to speak slower.
Don’t panic! Calmly (but quickly!) tell the examiner that this is your natural speech. If you try to speak slower, you will be unaccustomed and have a much harder time doing well on the exam.
3. Use Complex Words
Try to use as many foreign, complicated, obscure words as possible. Your job is to get the instructor to start thinking about one word, not your complete answer.
Do you think every examiner knows what tact, aberration, or procrastination are? Prepare in advance so that you are ready to explain an obscure term to the examiner if you need to. This, in turn, will give you a substantial amount of solidity.
4. Give The Performance Theatricality
Tormented by the question “will I pass the exam?”, try as often as possible to practice your usual chatty talk at home in front of a mirror. Your goal is to completely get rid of that perpetual “I’m afraid to take exams!” and speak in a more meaningful way.
In doing so, pay attention to the tone of your speech. Speaking meaningfully and openly, we dispose the listener to us, we separate him and ourselves from the rest of the audience, counting you to the participants in the conversation as equals.
And more meaningfulness allows you to quickly “move away” from an obscure issue, smoothly moving on to another topic. Isn’t that a great way to pass any exam (even a written one) if you don’t know anything?
5. Be Provocative
Of course, it is best to be prepared for the exam in advance. Or use PaperHelpWriting to get a good score on a subject before the exam. But if you see that you can’t pass the exam, you have no choice but to try all methods.
Try to provoke the examiner, to lead him away from the path of the chosen topic and push him to discuss the problem as controversial as possible.
What are we trying to achieve? Sometimes, in order to pass the exam correctly and on the excellent, it is enough to switch places with the teacher, take his place as an examiner, or the position of an equal interlocutor.
Yes, not all teachers like to argue with them. But if the teacher is one of those who pays attention to the quality of acquired knowledge, then, putting him in the position of an equal interlocutor, you will have the opportunity to pass the exam by creating an atmosphere of equal rights, full-fledged discussion.
6. Distract The Teacher’s Attention
Is it easy to pass exams without preparation? It is if you know how to distract the attention of the examiner. If you manage to distract the professor from his question, you can pass off as the truth completely ” out of the box ” information.
This is served by many tricks: rustling your paper, twirling your pen, stomping your feet, etc. If the instructor asks you to stop, remind him/her that it is you who is now in the position of the test subject, which makes you very anxious.
