26 January marks India’s Republic Day
A sea of saffron, white and green covers cities and towns across India on January 26, to mark India’s Republic Day. Flags, flowers and decorations line the streets and fireworks fill the sky. “Jan Gan Man” and “Jai Hind” are shouted amidst celebratory crowds. It’s India’s republic day and here’s what you can do to celebrate this great day even if you find yourself in a foreign land.
1. Remember your roots
