Diablo 4 Patch Highlights
1.1.3 Build #44582 (All Platforms)
In this update, we’re addressing various aspects of gameplay, fixing bugs, and enhancing the overall player experience.
The changes are geared towards optimizing gameplay mechanics, enhancing balance, and improving overall performance.

Gameplay Updates
Monsters: Crowd Control Sources
We’ve made substantial adjustments to Monster Abilities and Elite Affixes, primarily focusing on Crowd Control effects. Here are some of the key changes:
- Cold Enchanted Elites that attack rapidly will no longer trigger the Cold Enchanted effect on every hit.
- Chilling Wind’s overlapping walls have been reduced in frequency.
- The Stun ability of the Cannibal Gorger is now more avoidable.
- Cold Goatman Ice Pillars have an increased cooldown.
- Reduced Chill effect from the Cold Spider attack.
- Nangari Snake Eyes’ Stun duration has been decreased from 1.5 to 1.25 seconds.
These changes are aimed at providing players with more control over their characters, reducing the frequency and impact of Crowd Control effects, especially at higher World Tiers.
General
- Fire Enchanted monster death explosion now releases 1 less wave and deals 20% less damage.
- Bloated Corpsefiend’s charge attack damage was reduced by 14%.
- Affixes on items will now sort consistently, enhancing item comparison.
Miscellaneous
- Seasonal and My Class filters in the Codex of Power menu now remember previous selections.
- Improved navigation in the Glyph Upgrade menu for controller users.
- Cross-platform progression now includes shared unlock criteria for Achievements, Trophies, and Challenges.

Bug Fixes
Season Of The Malignant
- Fixed the tooltip issue with the Shadow Clone from the Caged Heart of Trickery in Fields of Hatred.
- Resolved a bug where Crowd Control effects affected the Shadow Clone and carried over to the player.
- The stun effect triggered properly for the Caged Heart of the Calculated’s cast skill, Imbued.
- Various issues related to Varshan’s encounter and Echo of Varshan’s quest have been fixed.
Gameplay
- Fixed instances where other players could unexpectedly benefit from Skills and Powers applied by a player.
- Addressed issues with Druid player’s inventory, Spirit Blessings, and progression-blocking situations.
- Fixed issues related to Treasure Goblin drops, boss legendary item drops, and more.
User Interface
- Improved clarity in clan disbanding prompt and quest marker behavior.
- Corrected objective names and icons for various quests and locations.
- Fixed overlapping icons and progress notifications for untracked Whispers.
Miscellaneous
- Resolved issues involving mounted NPCs, weapon-equipping inconsistencies, and quest progression blocks.
