How To Check If Google Calendar Is Down

To determine if Google Calendar is experiencing an outage, one of the most reliable methods is to visit the aforementioned DownDetector website.

We find this platform to be an excellent resource for monitoring user-reported issues with websites and services, making it our primary go-to tool.

Of course, it’s important to note that DownDetector itself must be functioning properly for this approach to work effectively.

Alternatively, you can also check the status of various Google services by visiting the Google Workspace Status Dashboard.

This dashboard offers a comprehensive overview of the operational status of Google services and highlights any ongoing issues.

Presently, it is officially reported that there is a “Service disruption” for Google Calendar. According to Google, they are actively “investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar” and plan to “provide more information shortly.”
