In just under a week, the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, is gearing up to host a historic event: the inaugural MotoGP race in India, also known as the MotoGP BharatGP.
Scheduled from September 22nd to the 24th, this exciting occasion will mark the debut of the MotoGP Bharat (Indian Grand Prix).
An impressive roster of 22 riders, representing 11 different teams, is poised to participate in a series of thrilling events throughout the weekend.
These events encompass practice sessions, qualifying rounds, an electrifying sprint race, and, of course, the highly anticipated Grand Prix feature race.

Within this fierce competition, the 11 participating teams will vie for victory aboard motorcycles from renowned manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Ducati, and Aprilia.
Notably, the idea of hosting a major two-wheeled championship at the Buddh International Circuit has been in the works for some time, with a World Superbike Championship event originally planned for the mid-2010s, though it faced multiple postponements and eventual cancellation.
Now, the collective ambition is to ensure the successful realization of the India MotoGP.
