IPL 2024 Auction: Player List, Salary Cap, And Team Slots
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially unveiled the list of players set to undergo the bidding process at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 mini-auction.
The auction is scheduled to take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on Monday, December 19.
The total salary cap for the IPL 2024 auction stands at ₹262.96 crore.
Among the franchises, Gujarat Titans boast the highest purse with ₹38.15 crore, while Lucknow Super Giants have the lowest at ₹13.15 crore.

In this auction, the ten IPL teams will collectively fill 77 slots, including 30 for overseas players. Ahead of the auction, franchises have already made decisions on player retentions and releases.
The IPL 2024 auction is set to showcase 333 cricketers, comprising 214 Indian and 119 overseas players, with two hailing from associate nations.
The mini-auction will include 116 capped players and 215 uncapped players.
A collective of 23 players have chosen the maximum reserve price of ₹2 crore, while an additional 13 players are featured on the auction list with a base price of ₹1.5 crore.
In preparation for the IPL 2024 auction, the ten franchises have collectively retained 173 players, among whom 50 are international players.
