Many users reported that Reddit is down, and users reported problems with Reddit RSS.

Reddit encountered a period of disruption on January 24th, leaving many users scratching their heads. Starting around lunchtime Eastern Time, issues began to arise, with reports climbing quickly across the US and UK. Users described difficulties accessing Reddit, both on the website and the app.

On May 30, 2024, at 11:08 PM IST, Reddit experienced a significant outage affecting both its app and website, with over 17,000 users reporting issues on Downdetector. The cause of the outage remains unknown, and Reddit officials have yet to comment on the situation.

These problems have been highlighted by multiple users over the last day, causing frustration across the platform.

On Wednesday, millions of Reddit users experienced a major outage, making the platform inaccessible for hours. Starting around 3 PM ET, users encountered error messages due to connectivity issues between Reddit’s servers and its content delivery network. This could have been caused by server overload, disruptions in the internet infrastructure, or internal system errors. The issue has since been resolved, and services are back to normal.
