Mithali Raj had won a number of hearts after she led India to the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup finals but for a few self-proclaimed moral policemen, her on-field record means nothing if they find her posing in an ‘objectionable’ manner, and they trolled and body-shamed the highest run-getter in women’s ODI cricket history.
On Tuesday, Mithali Raj was trolled for what she wore. A certain section of Twitteratis reacted to Mithali Raj’s recent picture where she was seen wearing a spaghetti top.
What seemed just like a simple picture upload with her colleagues, the moral police were objecting to her choice of clothes. And immediately they went on a rampage to point out that she didn’t dress ‘decently enough’.
They even started from telling her to take down the selfie to commenting on her dressing sense and quite frankly, they are beyond ridiculous.
Not good to see you in this costumes. Don’t mistake me. Be an Indian women that too TAMIL NADU WOMEN.

This, however, isn’t the first time that Raj has been body-shamed though. She was shamed for her ‘sweaty armpits’.
She was at an inaugurating a cricket centre in Bengaluru and it seemed to be a lovely moment until certain Twitteratis stated that she was sweating (at her armpit) while posing for the photo.
However, there were others as well who defended her choice and voiced their opinion in favour of Raj.
