Disney has unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for its upcoming live-action Aladdin film, and it’s a whole new world for fans of the 1992 animated version of the film.

Aladdin, directed by Guy Ritchie, stars Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Frank Welker will return to voice Abu, Jafar will be played by Marwen Kenzari, Naomi Scott plays Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud plays Aladdin. Aladdin is part of Disney’s ongoing campaign to reimagine and adapt its animated classics as live-action films.
Disney’s first full-length trailer for the film has given audiences a proper look at Aladdin’s world, and it’s starting to resemble the fun, snappy tale of adventure that fans know and love.
The trailer begins with Aladdin (Mena Massoud) running away from two men who are after him for stealing.
Soon after, our hero gets a look at Jasmine (Naomi Scott) for the first time.
Genie (Will Smith) and carpet dance along to “Friend Like Me” in one quick shot.
