I have always loved the Motorola G series. I’ve had it since the G3 after doing away with the “other big cellphone manufacturer.”
Just a note: it does not come charged, and you will have to do a hard reset to turn it on the first time. You will hold the volume down button with the power button for a minute or so. This kind of caught me off guard.
Since Amazon did away with the lock ads, it’s cheaper to buy it through them while the apps don’t take up much space (I use most of them anyway). The fingerprint sensor is smaller than the g5, but equally effective. Large screen, and more narrow than the g5 which is better for my female hands.
The audio on this phone kicks butt (thanks Dolby audio). Camera is good quality and fast. And, as all Motorolas are, it has a SD card to put your apps or pictures on.
Overall, I love this phone and recommend it to everyone (husband recently switched over and says he’ll never to back. Get One…Price is -$234.99
2. LG G6 – 32 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Black – Prime Exclusive

Plus, worry less about accidents or the elements with IP68 Dust and Water Resistance and 14 military standard (MIL-STD-810G) certifications.

I love this LG phone! It is the nicest and best one I’ve ever bought! Still learning about it but if you can get one of these, I highly recommend it! Also, I love that Amazon has payments on certain things of this price range or I wouldn’t have been able to buy it. Thanks Amazon.
Hope you start doing more things on payments. It works fine on Verizon, but as some of the reviews states, they might tell you that it doesn’t when you first go in to Verizon.
If they do, just ask them to let you speak with someone with a little more experience and you’re good to go. Purchase Here…Price is -$377.98

I was involuntarily in the market for a new Android smartphone after dropping my LG G5 in the parking lot at work this week. I am so glad I found this phone. It is not only economical, it is better than my old phone.
It is fast, and has really cool features that my other phone did not have. Such as three fingerprint screenshots. I used screenshots a lot and always head to Fumble to hold down the power key and volume key at the same time with other phones and this is a great Improvement.
It also has a neat feature that automatically allows me to set blue light filtering at a set time every day or at dusk which makes it easy for me to go to sleep. I have problems with blue light from devices getting me to sleep. There’s tons of other features I’ve discovered but I just love this phone.
It is working out awesomely and I highly recommend it. It’s the cheapest phone I bought for myself but so far it’s also the best. It has really cool and effective predictive text both voice to text and swiping.
My prior phones have not been this effective. Usually makes me sound like a blithering idiot but this phone really understands me already. Available Here…Price is -$189.99
4. Moto Z3 Play – 64 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Deep Indigo – Prime Exclusive Phone
Meet Moto Z3 Play. 6″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a Max Vision 18:9 aspect ratio, advanced imaging software, and a long-lasting non replaceable battery, it’s impressive any way you look at it.
It’s designed around Moto Mods, interchangeable backs that snap onto your smartphone, instantly transforming it into a movie projector, Boom box, battery powerhouse, and more. The possibilities are practically endless.
Plus, with a pre-installed selection of Amazon apps, including the Amazon Widget, Amazon Shopping, and Amazon Alexa, Prime members enjoy easy access to daily deals, Prime movies and TV shows, Prime Music, Prime Photos storage, and more, with a single sign-on experience. Includes Moto Power Pack, just snap on the back to add hours of power

I got my phone today and have been busy all afternoon getting acquainted with it. This is my first MOTO and I’m coming from a Galaxy S5.
So far I love it! It’s beautiful, not heavy and the screen is bright and very high definition. It was so easy transferring my contacts from my old phone. Set up was quicker than with my past Galaxy phones.
The big screen is a very welcome upgrade. The only complaint I have at this point (which has nothing to do with the phone) is not being able to find a case that will accommodate the phone with the battery mod attached.
Surely some company will see this as a need in the near future and create one. I’m so happy I chose this phone! Buy One…Price is -$449.99
5. Moto E (4th Generation) – 16 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Black – Prime Exclusive
The new Moto E features a vibrant 5” HD screen designed to fit right in your hand. With its water-repellent coating, spills, splashes, or a little rain won’t get in your way.
It takes beautiful sharp photos and selfies even in low light, with the 8 MP rear camera or the 5 MP selfie cam with an LED flash. It unlocks with your fingerprint. Moto E. Everything’s just right.
Review By Mike Kai
I really like this phone. It is a good phone with plenty of features without the exorbitant price tag of so many others. I used it with Verizon (CDMA) and then tested it with Mint (uses TMobile GSM towers) and the phone performed flawlessly with both. It should work very well for any US cell provider.
I really cannot find any negatives about this phone. No it is not the latest $800-1000 phone so of course it will not perform or have features available to those high end phones, but for the price you get a great phone. I definitely recommend. Available Here…Price is -$234.99
6. Moto X (4th Generation) – with hands-free Amazon Alexa – 32 GB – Unlocked – Super Black – Prime Exclusive
Introducing Moto X4, a phone designed like no other, with the power of hands-free Amazon Alexa. Stay protected from splashes with IP68-rated water resistance. With an advanced 12 MP + 8 MP dual rear camera system, it’s made for taking your best photos ever.
Incredibly sharp images in low light. Breathtaking wide angle shots. Even panoramic selfies with a 16 MP front camera. With a precision-crafted glass and metal design, it’s as beautiful as it is strong.
Wherever life takes you, power through the day with a 3000 mAh battery and a fast octa-core processor. Enjoy intuitive Moto Experiences that make using Moto X4 easier and more fun. The new Moto X4, in a word, exceptional.

I really love this phone, Previous phone was a Nexus 5 x. This one is so much better. its faster, the battery lasts a very long time. The screen size is about the same size as my old Nexus 5x (maybe slightly bigger but better resolution than the 5x). Motorola’s/ Lenovos UI enhancements are good. not over bearing like some other manufactures.
Minor annoyance: I could not transfer all of my settings from my Nexus 5 X like apps. The reason is that google keeps Nexus phones up to date better than any other manufacture and because the nexus was on a never version of Andriod than the Moto X4 I could not use my cloud backup to restore my apps. My contacts did transfer over without issue but I did lose my old texts and call history.
Everyday I am thankful that I made this purchase. Well worth the money and much better than my previous Nexus 5x with regards to speed, responsiveness and battery life. Purchase Here…Price is -$279.99
7. Moto G PLUS (5th Generation) – 32 GB – Unlocked – Lunar Gray – Prime Exclusive

It takes stunning photos thanks to an advanced 12 MP camera and along with an all-day battery, gets up to 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes of TurboPower. It also comes in a streamlined design that fits nicely in your pocket and also comes with a fingerprint scanner/sensor.
Review By ABQMED
I bought this phone just for an overseas trip. I didn’t feel comfortable about taking my company provided Verizon phone. I knew that most the world uses GSM not CDMA. My opinion, the best feature of this phone is that it supports CDMA and GSM.
I used a Verizon SIM until New York then once at my destination, I purchased a Data only SIM card on a GSM network. I had WhatsAPP installed which gave me phone and messaging.
Also, because I use Magic Jack for my home office phone I was able to redirect all those calls to the Magic Jack Android app. Most didn’t even knew I was on travel outside the US.
This phone worked flawlessly for me. To the extent that I’ve been back a month and haven’t switched back to my Samsung S7. The Moto G plus doesn’t have an IR blaster for remote control, which I thought I would miss but I had forgotten about it till I wrote this. Is it a flagship phone?
No, camera is very good but doesn’t compete with more expensive phones. I can say the finger printer reader works much better for me then my S7. Your experience may be different, but for me it worked much better then expected. Purchase Here…Price is -$204.99
8. LG K30 – 16 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Black – Prime Exclusive Phone
The LG K30 is a smartphone that accomplishes all the essentials and is designed to impress. With a real metal build and curved glass, it looks good and feels great in-hand.
This device has plenty of power for a smooth, responsive experience—plus storage to spare. An 8 MP rear camera is sharp and quick to capture every special moment, and the 5 MP front camera takes easy, share-worthy selfies with Gesture Shot or Auto Shot.
Photos and videos can be posted instantly to social sites using quick sharing functionality. Enjoy vibrant color and striking detail on the 5.3″ HD Display, then keep your phone and all its content secure with the convenient fingerprint sensor.

This phone is a good phone for the money. I added a 64 gb sd card to increase its storage. I disabled all apps that would not be used and erased what I could. Comes with quite a few. Since it only has 2gigs of ram u need to keep the number of processes low and keep home screen free from clutter.
Don’t use tons of widgets. Screen is good but doesnt take very good pictures or video. Makes and receives calls very good. Ear speaker is good. Speaker for music is located on back and is just ok. Battery lasts well. Mild use and it will last more than a day without charge.
Fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. Also doubles as a power button. A common problem people have is the sticker on the back. I put a case on the phone first thing so it’s not bothersome to me. I’ll update this review if opion of phone changes. ..Buy One…Price is -$139.99
9. LG G6+ – 128 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Black – Prime Exclusive
The LG G6+ is masterfully engineered to give you both a large screen and in-hand comfort. Enjoy an incredible viewing experience on the 5.7″ QHD Plus FullVision display featuring Dolby Vision technology.
Now, you can get more in every shot with wide-angle lenses on both the 5 MP front and 13 MP rear cameras. And when you want to have more fun with your photos, Square Camera offers 4 different modes.
Plus, worry less about accidents or the elements with IP68 Dust and Water Resistance and 14 military standard (MIL-STD-810G) certifications.

I simply love it, I had a v20 and a s8, and this is the combination of the two of them. It’s the best phone I’ve ever had by far already. Looks pretty, is tough as nails, and has all the features that nobody else has anymore. The only thing they could have added would have had an ir blaster, but that would almost be too much.
Overall I love the phone and would recommend it to anyone. And even though it’s processor is “old” it’s very battery efficient, has been proven to work and is not that much slower to other phones at all.
So it’s not a negative in my mind at all. Also I have been getting 6.5 to 7 hours of screen time. I do light gaming and I watch YouTube on this device primarily to get an idea of the battery drain that I do on it. Purchase Here…Price is -$479.99
10. Moto G Plus (5th Generation) – Lunar Gray – 64 GB – Unlocked – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads
Review By Travis F
Bought the Moto G5 Plus to replace my aging Moto X (2014). I love the raw (or close to it) Android experience Motorola offers. Solid phones in general. However, solid doesn’t mean it has the best features available.
Pros:
– Absolutely stellar battery life. 7+ hours of screen time while playing games.
– Crisp edges for on-screen graphics.
– Screen dimensions: 5.2″ is a nice middle-of-the-road size.
– Aluminum back is a nice selling point for those who go case-less.
– The fingerprint scanner works well.
11. LG Q6-32 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile) – Platinum – Prime Exclusive
The LG Q6 brings stand-out features from LG’s latest premium products, yet provides a simpler experience that focuses on the essentials. Enjoy vibrant, viewing on a 5.5″ Full HD+ IPS FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Capture beautiful, sharp photos with an exceptional 13 MP rear camera. Include more friends in your selfies with the 5 MP wide-angle front camera. Plus, you can even play around with 4 different Square Camera modes for fun, creative photos. This smartphone is everything you need, and nothing more.

Bought this phone at $199 and missed the $160 sale. But the phone is very well made although the plastic back scratches very easy. That is so annoying since I’m always cleaning and protecting my phones.
It seems that the softest lint could scratch the back easily, but besides that flaw, the phone works great from normal to slight gaming.
It lags from time to time but nothing that is annoying to me. The screen is very nice and colors are accurate.
Overall this phone is very good but should be at $200 not $250 or $300. there is a better option at exactly $200 which is the Honor 7x. Get One…Price is -$249.99

I had a company iPhone for five years and recently quit and needed to get my own phone. After initially considering the $700 or so iPhone from Verizon, and I heard the new one in a few months will be around $900, I decided to do some research.
Not only did I decide on a different wireless company but also decided on the Moto G Plus and I couldn’t be happier on both counts. The Moto screen is larger than the iPhone 6s and seems to be perfect for me… any larger and it would be too big.
I love the fingerprint unlock and downloading apps without connecting a cable to my computer and iTunes is great. The iPhone 6s cannot do all of that. It has other great features that I like, such as putting the phone face down if you don’t want to be disturbed or picking it up to change it from ringing to vibrate or shaking it twice to turn the flashlight on or off, and many more.
Finding out about features like that was easy since there is a Moto app on the phone that walks you through helpful features. If the iPhone did these thingsI never knew for five years since Apple doesn’t communicate those things. Bottom line is I like the Moto much better and save hundreds of dollars also.
Why the iPhone costs four times much is beyond me. And for those interested, I’m using Republic Wireless. The coverage has been great so far and I got the $20 a month 1 GB service. There are less and more expensive plans available depending on data use. Available Here…Price is -$201.36
13. Nokia 6 – 32 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile) – Black – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads

Review By Edgelimited
As a tech reviewer, I go through alot of phones. Without going on and on Ill say this is a perfect all around phone. Its not going to be as good as a $700 flagship phone but its insanely good for the price.
The lockscreen ads are easy to get used to (im ocd about having things my way, so it says alot that this doesnt bother me) and the bloatware is pretty minimal (mostly Amazon Apps, but they are useful, like being able to watch Amazon Prime Video)
.If youve ever owned one of the excellent Google Nexus line of phones, youll be pleasantly surprised by this phone. Purchase Here…Price is -$152.88
14. Alcatel A30 PLUS – 16 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Black – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads
Alcatel A30 PLUS offers impressive smartphone value featuring power-efficient performance and entertainment experiences in a premium form factor.
Review By Tom S
My Samsung S6 Edge Plus got dropped in a parking lot and then run over. I was paying $15.00 a month for insurance, and found out after a call to Verizon that the deductible was over $200.00. Really?! So.
To make a long story not so long, I decided to try this A30 plus from Amazon (with ads) 79.99 .
Add a new sim card for $12 a month on the T-mobile network from MintSim, And honestly, I couldn’t be happier. The A30 plus is a really good phone. It uses Android 7.0 Nougat, has the same size screen as my S6 Edge plus, I actually prefer it over the Samsung. Go figure.
The ads are only on the sign in screen and are not seen once you start using the phone. Same as on my Kindle. Got to give Amazon credit for that. I am very happy with this phone. Available Here…Price is -$93.68
15. Nokia 6-32 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile) – Copper – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads

Review By Power Buyer
I really wanted to like this phone I have a nostalgic view of the Nokia brand, and I did for the first two months. I am not a super demanding phone user so the mid level specs worked fine for me, but it looks like the company post Microsoft is not the same.
Unfortunately at that point the screen started to develop pixels that stay lit in different colors and give it the appearance of being covered in glitter.
It is out of Amazon return window so I contacted Nokia (no easy feat). I asked where I could send the phone to have them look at it and their reply was less then stellar.
They asked me to send screenshots from the phone and pictures of the screen from another device before they could do anything?
I will have to play the game but any customer service that immediately turns the tables on the purchaser, it’s obvious that Nokia is not of the same mindset as Amazon in regard to customer satisfaction. Buy One…Price is -$163.76
16. Alcatel Idol 5S – 32 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/Sprint/T-Mobile/Verizon) – Crystal Grey – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads

Did a bit of research once I saw that this was going to be sold on prime day and it’s pretty good so far. It’s running hardware that’s comparable to specs you’d find early last year, but it’s $200.
I bought the version that came with ads, so far what I’ve noticed is: you will either get a full lock screen ad (so far I’ve gotten kindle and two different prime day ads, the pictures are usually tasteful but pretty bright) or if you have notifications you’ll get 1 notification flier that’s an ad (same size as all other notification fliers, or at least roughly the same).
It preinstalls Amazon apps and you cannot uninstall them so basically the same bloatware you’d get from Apple/Samsung/Google but Amazon instead (but there’s no forced flipboard or google calendar/search so it actually feels more lightweight to me. Buy One…Price is -$181.29
17. Alcatel A50 – 16 GB – Unlocked (AT&T/T-Mobile) – Metal Silver – Prime Exclusive – with Lockscreen Offers & Ads

Nice phone so far. Replaced another Alcatel that never gave me a problem, just didn’t have any storage. I did manage to get it working on Tracfone too with T Mobile. Biggest problem there was getting the APN correct.
Tracfone CS for the first time wasn’t much help there, so figure you’re kind of own your own setting it up for Tracfone. The Amazon ads are nothing to worry about, only on lock screen.
I’d like to see more instructions for the phone, other then the basic ones that came with it, nothing even on Alcatel’s website.
Update. I was having a problem, the phone would lose sound for no apparent reason. Seemed if it just sat when I went to unlock the screen no keypad sounds or anything else for that matter. Power off and on and it came back, checked settings they were fine and the levels hadn’t changed.
I contacted Alcatel and Michael helped me out. These are the instructions he gave me in case this happens to anyone else, so far so good, knock on wood. Available Here…Price is -$101.42

My Note was stuck in bootloop unless I restarted it with it plugged in. Without it plugged in, I couldn’t run any app without it restarting & going bootloop again.
I thought the phone was history, but this battery showed 56% when initially installed and the phone powered up without any issue.
Apps and everything run like it’s a new phone. Thank you so much for bringing my phone back from death! Available Here…Price is -$13.80
19. Nokia 6.1 (2018) – 32 GB – Unlocked Smartphone (AT&T/T-Mobile) – 5.5″ Screen – Black

They have this phone priced just right. I got it from Amazon which was linked directly from the Nokia site. I was worried that another vendor might sell an International Version without a warranty. Some ambiguity in the specifications were also a concern. This might clear it up.
The US version has 3GB memory and 32GB RAM. Not 4GB memory. I put a 256GB SanDisk SDXC card in and it is recognized and working although some places they say the max is 128GB. The front glass is curved slightly so a flat twmpered glass prptector doesnt seal the edges, top, bottom or sides. It works, but I’m hoping someone will make one that fits better.
The phone came with Android 7.1.1. When it connected, it downloaded and installed Android 8.1.0.
The phone feels good. Nice size, weight and balance. It replaces my Motorola NEXUS 6 which was heavy, a bit too large, and had odd balance in the hand.
The weakness of this phone is its little mono speaker for media play. I use a Bluetooth speaker instead. A headphone jack is provided. Purchase Here…Price is -$269.00
20. Razer Phone – 120 Hz Ultra Motion Display – 64GB Memory – 8GB RAM – Dual Camera – Dual Front-Facing Speakers – Gaming Phone – Black
The World’s First 120Hz Ultra Motion Display for smoother and truer graphics. Audio is powered by Dolby ATMOS and certified by THX for a true cinematic audio experience. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 8GB RAM for optimized performance. **The Razer Phone is a GSM-compatible unlocked phone.

The phone is a bit expensive but it totally worth it. The 120fps screen is spot on. Sound quality if better than any phone I have seen before. The finger print unlock on the side is amazingly fast(about 4-6 times faster than my old Iphone6 and does not fail like it usually does). If anything I would consider as a disadvantage, it would be the phone does not come with a earbud. The phone also comes with thunderbolt 3 connection and the charging speed is very fast. What are the benefits of an unlocked phone?
What is an unlocked phone?
An unlocked phone is a device that is not tied to any carrier or plan. It lets you choose your phone first and your carrier second. Upon selecting a plan, simply insert the carrier’s SIM card into the phone and you’re ready to go.
If you want to change carriers later or want to take an international trip, it’s a as simple as replacing your existing SIM card with a new SIM and activating your new plan.
Why buy an unlocked phone?
Freedom: Choose the carrier with the best service or price. If you find a better deal later, you have the ability to change to a different carrier.
Travel: Take your phone internationally and use the carrier of your choice. It’s as easy as inserting an active SIM card.
Selection: Choose the phone with the features you want, whether or not your carrier sells it, and get more service options without a contract.
All the Flexibility of Unlocked
Enjoy the freedom to choose your plan and change carriers, or even countries with ease.
How Do I Set Up My Unlocked Phone?
The first thing you’ll need is a SIM card for your desired carrier. When activated, the SIM card will let your phone connect to your carrier’s network. If you decide to upgrade to a newer unlocked phone in the future, you can easily remove the SIM card from your old phone and put it in your new phone—just make sure you get the right size of SIM card (nano, micro, or standard) for your phone.
To find out which size SIM card you need and how to install or remove it from your phone, see the user guide that came with your phone. If you want to use your phone while traveling internationally, you can easily buy a SIM card for a carrier that operates where you’re traveling.
As long as it’s activated, you can just swap SIM cards when you arrive at your destination. If you often travel internationally, you might want to consider a dual-SIM phone, which has two SIM card slots so you don’t have to swap them.
Check out our broad selection of SIM cards and SIM kits for U.S. and international carriers. If you already have a SIM card and need help activating it, contact your carrier.
How Do I Know If My Phone Will Work With My Carrier?
When buying an unlocked phone, it’s important to know which frequency band your carrier’s network uses. GSM is the type of wireless network used in the U.S. by AT&T, T-Mobile, and various prepaid carriers.
CDMA is the type of wireless network used by Verizon, Sprint, and some prepaid carriers. Internationally, most carriers also use GSM, but in both the U.S. and internationally, different carriers use different bands within the available radio frequencies.
This is noted in megahertz (MHz), and common bands include 800, 850, and 1900 MHz. Before buying, make sure the phone you want works on the same network type and bands as your desired carrier.
This is especially important if you plan to use your phone internationally because different bands are used in different regions of the world.
If you’re not sure, check the specs on our product pages or contact your carrier. For the top domestic carriers and smartphones, Amazon will indicate if the phone is compatible in the product page.
What Is An International Version Of A Phone?
An international version is a phone that was manufactured for sale outside the U.S. Often, these are the same phones available from your carrier, but they may differ in settings, software, packaging, the language on the packaging and documentation.
International models may not include a warranty or a charger that works with electrical outlets in the U.S. Most importantly, an international model may be designed to use a frequency band that is not used by U.S. carriers. In the U.S. and internationally, different carriers use different portions of the available radio frequencies.
This is noted in megahertz (MHz), and common bands include 800, 850, and 1900 MHz. Before buying, make sure the phone you want works on the same bands as your desired carrier. If you’re not sure, check the specs on our product pages or contact your carrier.
What Is Universally Compatible Vs. Gsm Compatible?
There are two types of unlocked phones—universally compatible and GSM-compatible. Most unlocked phones are GSM-compatible, meaning they can be used with GSM network carriers. In the U.S., major GSM carriers include AT&T and T-Mobile, and most carriers outside the U.S. use GSM, as well. Universally unlocked phones can be used on GSM or CDMA networks.
Verizon and Sprint are the major CDMA networks in the U.S. A CDMA phone will not work on a GSM network, and vice versa. A universally unlocked phone is perfect if you don’t want to be locked into a limited selection of carriers or if you use a CDMA network in the U.S., but often travel and need access to GSM networks.
Before buying, make sure the phone you want works on the same network type and bands as your desired carrier. In the U.S. and internationally, different carriers use different portions of the available radio frequencies. This is noted in megahertz (MHz), and common bands include 800, 850, and 1900 MHz.
This is especially important if you plan to use your phone internationally because different bands are used in different regions of the world. If you’re not sure, check the specs on our product pages or contact your carrier.
What Is Carrier Unlocked Vs. Factory Unlocked?
Many unlocked phones are already unlocked when they leave the factory. They are often called “factory unlocked” phones. If you get a factory unlocked phone, it will be ready to go with the compatible carrier of your choice.
Some phones are manufactured locked and are later unlocked by the carrier, distributor, or seller. These are usually called “carrier unlocked” because unlocking the phone for use with another network involves entering a code provided by the original carrier.
If you’re considering a carrier unlocked phone, be aware that the packaging may have been opened to enter the unlock code. Carrier unlocked phones often display branding of the original carrier on the phone and in the software, even if they’re used with a different carrier.
