R.K. Laxman, the doyen of India’s political cartoon and the man behind ” the common man” breathed his last on January 26, 2015. The man who for over 50 years captured the conscience of India through his sketches and cartoons, with a tinge of wit, humour and sarcasm. Laxman’s cartoons were funny but never offensive.
