Built in 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum, one of Shah Jehans wives who also have a mosque
dedicated in her name at the Taj Mahal, the Masjid is found at the western end of the oldest road/walkway in Delhi Chandni Chowk. It is known to be the second largest mosque with traditional design having a prayer hall boasting of seven gothically arched openings.
