Hasanamba Temple

Hasanamba Temple is dedicated to the deity Hasanamba (Shakthi) meaning smiling. This temple is open to the public only for a week in a year during the lunar month of Ashwayuja, during Diwali. Believed to be constructed in 12th century, it is considered as a marvel of the temple architecture. This Temple is famous for its unusual image of Ravana with nine heads instead of ten. In the entrance of the Temple, the spectators can see a beautiful view of Siddeshwara Swamy, who is not depicted in the Linga roopa.
