Earlier known as the Red Fort Museum, this museum is located in the NaubatKhana or the Musical House Building in the Red Fort and was established to pay homage and remember the Indian and Foreign Soldiers who fought bravely in in the World Wars and epic battles that took place in India and in Foreign Lands and were either injured or martyred in action. The 1st and 2nd stories of NaubatKhana has the collection of the weapons, arms, uniforms and war memorabilia belonging to these Soldiers and the British Army used during the all the Battles. The Entrance Gallery of this museum has pictures of first battle of Panipat between Mughal Emperor Babar and his Army and Sultan Ibrahim Lodi and his Army facing and opposing each other. Various artifacts used in the war like Swords, Khukris, Bows and Arrows, Revolvers, Shells, Machine guns, daggers made of Ivory, Chest Armours, Axes used in Battles and Helmets are also displayed. New Gadgets used extensively during the world wars like Telephone, Telegram, Radars, Guns, Periscope, Signal Lights or Lamps and many other items are also on display.
