This palace was built during the reign of the Travancore Monarch in the 18th century. The structure also famously known as Marthanda Varma is a duple floored building. The edifice portrays the emblematic distinction of the Kerala architecture. The palace stocks one of the largest mural paintings in Kerala; it is also known as Gajendra Moksham. Inside the palace, there is also a museum of unique sculptures and canvases.
