This is one of the most Famous Gardens of Delhi. This Garden is situated on Lodhi Road between the Safdarjung Tomb and Khan Market. This garden has Architectural monuments of the 15th century by built by Lodhis, which includes Mohammed Shah’s Tomb, Sikander Lodi’s Tomb, Sheesh Gumbad and Bara Gumbad. The Tomb of Mohammed Shah was built here in 1444 by Ala-ud-din Alam Shah. The Tomb of Sikander Lodi was built by Ibrahim Lodi in 1517. The Lodhi Garden is planted with numerous trees, plants and species of Roses which bloom in the month of February and March. Visitors can also see many species of Birds that breed and feed next to the Lake here. This is ideal place for the people of Delhi to spend some time with friends and family in the midst of nature.
