The MehtabBagh is noted to be located at the flood plains of the Yamuna River, north of the Taj Mahal complex. It was the last of the eleven-built Mughal gardens along the river Yamuna to commemorate the standing of the Taj. It is noted that the area is shrouded in rumor regarding a second Taj Mahal being built to face the original, but that which was made of Black marble.
