Contrary to popular belief, Kareena Kapoor wasn’t Shahid’s first love, it was Hrishita Bhatt. They first started dating when they shot for the Aryans music video, ‘Aankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra‘.

After his debut film managed to become a runaway hit at the Box Office, Shahid had to struggle a lot to break the mould. From the time he was first seen on small screen, the actor was compared to superstar Shah Rukh Khan. He was also doing similar kind of romantic roles.Some even said that he looks like SRK, and that it will be difficult for him to make his own identity.

Shahid had a traumatic experience while shooting for the film, ‘Ishq Vishq’. During a shot, as he turned around he found a horse’s head extremely close to his posterior, Shahid ended up jumping a fence and running as far as he could from the rogue horse head.

8. He Comes From Unbelievable Bollywood Pedigree
Not only is Shahid’s father, Pankaj Kapur, an acting legend, his step-mother Supriya Pathak is one of the best female actors we’ve seen. He also happens to be ace actor Naseeruddin Shah’s step nephew. Shahid’s great great grandfather is acclaimed film director, screenwriter, novelist and journalist K.A Abbas.
