1. Born as Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, he is the eldest son of screenplay writer Salim Khan and his wife Salma. He was born on 27th December 1965 and has already had a career of 30 years in the industry. (1)
2. Salman has received multiple awards for his acting and two national awards as a film producer. Having a significant following both India and abroad Salman is one of the most commercially successful stars of this era.(2)
