Netflix experienced technical issues causing an outage for thousands of U.S. users on Monday evening. The streaming giant resolved the issues, and most users were back up and running. Downdetector.com initially reported nearly 21,000 outage reports, but the number decreased to 984 by 20:00 ET. In an emailed statement, Netflix acknowledged the “unexpected technical issues” affecting some members.
