1. Bose Home Speaker 500
If there is any company which has ruled the speaker’s arena it is Bose and they are now taking it to a totally different level altogether. The Bose home speaker 500 is their latest offering and it provides you a sound experience in tandem with Alexa smart assistance functions. This allows you to both stream music and uses your voice to control the music too.
Review: Jeffrey Wickert
There is a lot to like about this speaker. The sound is great and the design is very attractive. Unfortunately, there are enough pieces that work as well as an Echo speaker. Asking it play to music, it often told me it wasn’t authorized until a second attempt leading to an interesting argument.
I returned this and bought an extra Echo and the Echo Sub instead. This setup improved sound quality in my opinion. Also everything works better with the straight Echo setup.
2. Google Home Max
You like to listen to your music a bit loud the Google home max works best for you. With a pair of 4-5 inch woofers and dual amps, the music effect is deafening. Even at 100 % volume, there is almost no vibration another plus point which makes this speaker a deal to buy.

With the Google Home and Google Home Mini, the search giant has basic home control and smart-assistant features covered. The Google Home Max is a rather different beast, then, designed to be the only music speaker you need. This is more an Apple HomePod product than just another speaker to compete with Amazon’s growing line of Echo devices.
- Excellent sound quality
- Top voice assistant
- Looks great
- Multi-room lacks finesse
- Comparatively expensive
3. JBL Charge 3
A perfect blend of sound, features and an optimum price the JBL Charge 3 can be carried just about anywhere thanks to its nearly perfect size. Its Bluetooth connectivity is impressive enough for people to connect around three smartphones to it all at the same time. The noise and echo canceling speaker add up to the benefits of this piece.

Absolutely love these! My parents were down visiting and my dad always has music playing. He is in his 70’s and still has a passion for music. Several years ago I finally got him into digital music. I connected him to this via Bluetooth and he loved the sound and portability. I had to buy him one.
4. JBL Clip 2
Want a Bluetooth speaker but have a limited budget then this one works the best for you. The JBL Clip 2 has a clip which allows you to tag it to your backpack. Without taking out your phone you can use the control of the speaker to make changes in the playback. An added bonus is the battery life that is better than others.
This speaker is super clear and very loud for its size. It doesnt buzz when you turn it up all the way and has good range from bass to acoustic. It sucks that it doesnt show the battery percentage but i did notice that it does show on my phone. Idk about android but with iphone if you pull down the notifications it shows the exact percentage.
5. Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay A1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
A simplistic design yet top-notch features is what the speaker from Bang & Olufsen’s has to offer. It has a circular design resembling a hockey puck but the sound that comes out is quite impressive. Battery life of 24 hours and dirt and splash resistance are some more features that make this speaker just the right choice to make.

I’ve had an old Bose SoundDock Portable for about 10 years now and I’ve been looking to upgrade it to something smaller but sounded better but was just as loud. That narrowed my list down to the Beoplay A1, JBL Charge 3, and the new Bose Revolve. The JBL was the cheapest on the list and is arguably louder than the A1 and Revolve, but the A1 just sounded so much clearer and the bass, although sounded slightly lower, was more accurate than the Charge 3. The new Bose Revolve just didn’t match either in sound quality, but it did have better 360 dispersion outdoors and hung. I eliminated the Bose on also having the weakest volume among the 3.

Early 2018 edit: it wouldn’t charge anymore, so I had to replace it. Still lasted a decent while. I primarily use it in the shower to listen to music/audiobooks/podcasts, and it is great – much better than I honestly expected.
The audio is very clear and the volume is good, although it seems to use its close proximity to tile or walls to make it louder. So if you pull it away from the wall as it’s playing music it seems the volume goes down, but even away from a surface it’s more than acceptable.

Review: Amazon Customer
This is my second VicTsing shower speaker in 2 years. The first stopped working just short of 7 months and the second quit on me after 12 months. I don’t recall what happened to the first one I purchased, but the most recent one stopped holding a charge. The sound quality is really great for a shower speaker. I’ve tried a few other speakers to replace this one, but unfortunately either the sound quality was not comparable to this speaker or the function buttons were lacking in others. It’s a good speaker, but in my opinion it really shouldn’t break down after 7-12 months of normal usage. I deducted 2 stars for the two speakers that broke down on me. If you buy it knowing that this is a disposable speaker, you won’t be disappointed.

Review: Jason and Julie
This is my first experience with a Bluetooth speaker and man it’s exceded my expectations. I use it in the shower, back yard, attach it to the bike and cruise around with the kids. Very neat. I bought another one for my dad for Father’s Day as he is always watching baseball on his iPad so I thought this would provide him better sound and it does! Great device!
10. iFox iF012 Bluetooth Shower Speaker
Incredibly, iFox iF012 is the best Bluetooth shower speaker you can award yourself. This model makes a perfect gift for your friends on their birthdays; if you have no idea what to give him/her. Its 100% waterproof therefore its use in water-contact environments, e.g., kayaking, boats, and poll and in the shower, has no limitation. Stick the speaker on the wall. Car window screen or any other place you with the non-slip suction cup and enjoy music all through.
Review: Fernando Walls
I saw some reviews and it seemed like the best choice. When it arrived, it felt rugged and very well built, but after the first charge, the Bluetooth just kept disconnecting every couple of minutes. Of course I recharged it fully but even when the battery fully charged, it presents the same fault. I’ve tried with two different Android phones and an iPad and unfortunately it doesn’t work properly on any of them. I believe my speaker was faulty as it doesn’t seem to be a bad product.
11. VicTsing Shower Wireless Waterproof Speaker

Stick it on the wall with the suction cup or use the aluminum alloy hook to hand on the towel hooks present.
Being other best waterproof Bluetooth speaker, this is fascinating. Why? No more struggling with tangled cables which at times pose a security risk to both the device and the speaker. Not only for music listening but also, the product creates a conducive hand-free phone answering from the comfort of your shower thanks to the built-in microphone.
This has turned out to be a great little speaker. I purchased it just before Christmas and have been using it a couple of times a week for about 20 to 30 minutes each time. All of this has been on just the first charge. I have purposely not charged it to see how long it will last. I waited to write the review so that I could report on the battery.
Well, I’m writing this and it’s still going! The sound is good for a small, inexpensive speaker. I have used it for music and audiobooks. It’s attached to my phone but I haven’t had a call come in during that time so I can’t report on that feature. It appears to be connected properly for that purpose though. I have no concerns about the vendor. It arrived just as expected, in good condition and on time. They also followed up with me to ensure I was happy.
12. Shower-Mate Water-Resistant Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

I ordered this little speaker and I’ve been asking myself why didn’t I purchase it sooner! It’s very loud considering the size of it which fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. I havent put it in the shower because it’s very loud with the shower doors closed and the water running so I don’t need to. I more than likely will not put it in the shower because it’s a small silicone piece that’s put over the charger input.
So, if it’s not properly secured, there goes your speaker and I do not have time for that. Im overall satisfied with the product and it lives up to the description. Definitely recommend if you’re like me and like to listen to music, YouTube videos, etc. while in the shower, brushing your teeth, etc. and the volume on your iPhone and MacBook just isn’t cutting it.

Review: S.S. Prime
Got this for my husband for Christmas when it was a lightning deal and it’s perfect. It’s louder then I expected and easy to pair a device too. This was a perfect find he used to leave his cell phone on the counter playing and now he can actually hear the music now. I also like that if has 3 ways to mount it. I can’t wait for summer to use it on the river when we go on floats!

Review: Stephanie Warbux
This is a great little Bluetooth speaker. It’s waterproof, and has a very durable suction cup to keep it in place. It’s really easy to pair with your Bluetooth device and charges on a USB port. It also has the option to choose what background color you’d like your speaker to be. There are several choices, but I like the pulsing changing color option.
15. COMISO Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers
With the GoAudio speaker, we took our sound in a new direction. Every direction. It’s our best-performing portable speaker, engineered to spread deep, jaw-dropping 360° sound. Also features a built-in microphone for taking calls.
If you think one GoAudio speaker sounds great, you’ll love how two of them sound together. Then turn things up, get a little crazy and dance like nobody’s looking.
IPX4-rated water resistance, and more. So whether you’re next to the pool or caught in a heavy rainstorm, it’s not a problem for your music.
This item is great for its size and price. It is very portable coming with its own carrying strap. It is loud but it is not meant to be used at a party or in a room full of talking people. I use on my desk but it is loud enough to hear in a reasonably quiet room. The outer case is metal. It is easy to use. It takes about an hour for the battery to charge. There is a USB charging cable included but not an AC adapter. I cannot attest to how long the battery actually runs but I was able to play my music for more than 2 hours without a problem before I turned it off. It certainly could have kept going. Another reviewer found the on light and the charging light annoyingly bright but I do not find that to be the case. That said there are a few things that I think could make this product even better.
