British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed on his social media handles that he will be unveiling his latest single ‘Shivers’ on September 10. This number is part of his fourth studio album ‘=’ that is slated to release on October 29.
“SHIVERS. Sheeran tweeted the second single from Ed’s fourth studio album, along with an animated clip.
This video gives a quick overview of ‘Shivers’. Sheeran can also be heard singing “I took an Arrow to the …””.
Ed Sheeran, multiple-platinum Grammy nominee, posted on his Instagram account,
“So my second officially single is called Shivers, which will be out September 10th.”
“This song was written right after the Divide tour had ended on a rented farm near Suffolk. We had been there for a few weeks and set up a studio to record our thoughts.
Although it took me three days to write, I found it too special not to be wrong. Although it was intended to be the first single, I couldn’t imagine a world without Bad Habits if it hadn’t been released in the summer.
Shivers are always more autumnal. I hope you like it, I bloody love it. Although the video is quite wild, you’ll see it next week.
