1. Grammarly Keyboard
The Grammarly Keyboard helps you write mistake-free and with ease in any app you use on your mobile device.
It provides hundreds of checks and features, along with seamless integration.
Whether you’re sending an urgent email, important LinkedIn message, or essential Facebook post, you can write from your phone with confidence.
Grammarly works by scanning what you write and offering suggestions in the same area that other keyboards might offer suggestions for misspelt words, only Grammarly will help fix verb choice and help correct other common grammatical mistakes.
And for those who love auto correct, it will also correct misspelt words as you type.
Review: PlayStore
It’s awesome that it catches more errors than just spelling and lets you review the whole paragraph you wrote, versus just for the word you’re currently typing.
I gave it four stars because the user interface could be slightly improved, but I would definitely still recommend this to anyone who prefers their typing to be improved.
2. CM Locker
CM Locker protects your confidential data lock your phone’s screen to secure your privacy.
Anti-Theft Protection can help you locate your lost phone, remotely lock it and enable its siren.
The Intruder Selfie function snaps photos of intruders who enter the wrong password. Download CM Locker and get awesome HD Wallpapers and Theme for Free!
This app override replaces your lock screen with a customizable one that includes an “Intruder Selfie” among its many features.
The Intruder Selfie takes a picture of anyone who unsuccessfully tries to unlock the device, whether it be one of your kids, a prankster co-worker or someone stealing your device.
Review: Softonic
CM Locker is an attractive lock-screen. It can display notifications, offers direct access to selected apps, and can use your phones camera to automatically take pictures of anyone who tries to unlock it with the incorrect PIN.
Notifications and intrusion detection
You unwittingly spend more time than you realize looking at your phone’s lock screen. Every time you turn on your phone, it’s there. However, many phone manufacturers default lock screens are drab and offer no functionality. This creates a gap in the market for apps like CM Locker.
CM Locker is an attractive lock screen from Clean Master. In fact, some of the company’s other tools make an appearance in CM Locker, with a RAM cleaner and battery optimizer coming built in.
3. Nova Launcher
Nova Launcher replaces your home screen with one you control and can customize. Change icons, layouts, animations and more.
Nova Launcher allows you to completely customize the home screen, which is the initial screen you get when you unlock your device. You can do everything from changing out the look of your icons to changing the position of just about anything to putting widgets and music players anywhere on the screen.
Review: PlayStore
Amazing launcher. Really customisable. Just I think, there should be an option to do changes in navigation buttons as well.
4. ASUS File Manager
Manage your files efficiently and easily with ASUS File Manager! ASUS File Manager helps you handle all your files whether they are stored in your device’s memory, microSD card, local area network, and cloud storage accounts.
ASUS File Manager is a very close second with all of the basic features you could want in a file manager coupled with a very easy-to-use interface. This makes it great for managing your music, photos or simply figuring out where all of your storage space is being used.
Review: PlayStore
At first, it’s doing it job right, with a minimal setting and no theme option. Then it’s evolving, the theme option suddenly appears, but it still get the jobs done. Then it activates bottom toolbars on its own and stopped working when I try to create a new folder or cut/copy/paste file rendering it a useless app.
5. IFTTT
IFTTT is the free way to get all your apps and devices talking to each other. Not everything on the internet plays nice, so we’re on a mission to build a more connected world.
Review: GetApp
I’d want to say that I’ve been using IFTTT before anyone else knew about it. Okay, maybe not “anyone”, but I’ve been using it since they only had a few channels, and thought it was the best thing ever.
I know there are now different competitors out there that charge you for usage, but IFTTT is the O.G. of the task automation and linking up actions of the Internet of Things (IOT). Super easy to configure, and possibilities are endless.

Cons
I’ve had some issues with IFTTT that the trigger wouldn’t fire properly, but it’s hard to pinpoint it to the software when it could be the case of hardware (in this case blink1).
6. Google Duo
Google Duo is the highest quality video calling app*. It’s simple, reliable, and works on smartphones and tablets. Google Duo works on Android and iOS phones and tablets, so you’ll never miss another moment with any of your friends and family.
With the Knock Knock feature, you’ll get a live video preview of the person calling you, so the fun starts before the conversation even begins. Leave a video message if the person you’re calling can’t pick up. With a video message, you can still capture the moment you wanted to share.
Review: PCmag
Pros
Slick and simple. Good video and audio quality. Cross-platform. Knock Knock preview feature.
Cons
Requires signup. No way to reject a call with a message. No way to accept a call without video. Some Wi-Fi connectivity issues in testing.
Bottom Line
With Duo, Google delivers on the promise of an easy-to-use video chat app, but it’s a bit too simple to compete, and it isn’t integrated tightly enough with Google’s ecosystem.
7. Call Recorder ACR
ACR (Another Call Recorder) is a free call recorder application. It is one of the best and most advanced call recorders in the Play Store and offers many advanced features such as:
Google Keep is good for a lot of things like quick lists, taking notes or recording a quick voice memo. But what about recording a phone call? Another Call Recorder (ACR) is a must-have for interviewers, reporters or anyone who wants to record calls on a regular basis. ACR can password protect recordings, record with different formats and exclude certain numbers. It also has a “Pro” version that includes cloud storage integration.
Review: PlayStore
Thank you, great app! This app has literally saved my “bottom” more than once. I work with many cultures, languages, business’s plus… It helps eliminate the ” I didn’t say that!” Etc.. I play back or send them the recording of the conversation and they can’t challenge or dispute a thing.
8. Velociraptor
Velociraptor is a floating speed limit monitor and speedometer, a companion for any map or navigation app.
Velociraptor uses OpenStreetMap data, which is basically a crowdsourced version of Google Maps, to obtain the speed limit of the street you are on and compare this to your actual rate of speed to alert you if you are in danger of getting a ticket.
But we all drive a little over the speed limit at times, don’t we? You can also set a tolerance level, which is fantastic if you only want to be alerted when you cross that magical 5 MPH above the speed limit threshold.
Review: PlayStore
Awesome app, a perfect addition to google maps, not resource hungry. Only reason it’s not 5* is that on the galaxy s9 the speed alert tone doesn’t work. In a completely quiet room, you can here a weak sound coming out of the earpiece speaker when pressing Test.
9. Signal Private Messenger
Using Signal, you can communicate instantly while avoiding SMS fees, create groups so that you can chat in real time with all your friends at once, and share media or attachments all with complete privacy.
If you are concerned more about privacy and security rather than ease-of-use or special emojis when it comes to your messaging app, you’ll want to check out the Signal messenger. While not as popular as WhatsApp, Signal focuses primarily on the secure side of the equation.
Review: PlayStore
It used to work well for me but having issues when I switched to a new phone. Running Android 9 on Pixel XL, have the Google Play updated, turned off all optimization so it can run in the background uninterrupted. But when I try to register I get an error: “Unable to connect to service.
10. Todoist
Todoist keeps track of all your tasks, projects, and goals in one beautifully simple place. It syncs across all your devices and integrates with all your favorite apps. For people who need less chaos and more peace-of-mind.
Review: PlayStore
Nice app, great features, good design, however the pricepoint on the monthly fee is ridiculously high and is a must for core features that any to-do app must do, things like ‘reminders’ and ‘labels’.
