Photographer Mark Bauer said of this enchanting picture of Corfe Castle in Dorset: ‘Corfe Castle has become a bit of a draw for photographers in recent years – it seems as if everyone wants to get a shot of the ruin rising above a low-lying mist at dawn. The reality is that these conditions don’t happen too often, but as I’m lucky enough to live a couple of miles down the road, I’ve been able to shoot it many times. On this occasion, I decided to try for something different.
