Finnish photographer Mikko Lagerstedt took this mesmerising picture in Patagonia, Chile, and said: ‘One of my favorite trips was to Chilean Patagonia in December 2016, when we were shooting for a new TV series about photography. This capture was near all the popular locations in Torres Del Paine National Park. I was searching for a unique view of these burned trees. I shot for about two hours here, and, just as I was leaving, I shot one last long exposure, when a hint of light hit the burned trees from behind. It came from a car driving behind us and it looks more like a painting than a photograph. I added a slight blue colour tint in Lightroom’
