Daniel Kordan explains how he took this picture in Scoresby Sound in Greenland: ‘I took this photograph during my sailing expedition in 2016. It took us two months to reach the eastern side of Greenland from Saint Petersburg. The steel yacht, “Peter the First”, was specially prepared for the journey through the ice fields of Greenland. During our sailings in early August, we scouted for the best locations, and biggest icebergs. We had a Zodiac boat, so we could easily change our position, and we asked the navigation team to position the yacht in this arch, to create the sense of scale. Water dripping from the melting iceberg was lit from behind by the golden light of the setting sun’
