Internet Archive is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more. Like a paper library, it provides free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public.
It began a program to digitize books in 2005 and today it scans 1,000 books per day in 28 locations around the world.
