The Georgia Southern Eagles are set to take on the Ohio University Bobcats in the 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl scheduled for Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Under the leadership of head coach Clay Helton, the Eagles (6-6) are making their second consecutive bowl appearance.

The Bobcats (9-3), led by head coach Tim Albin, aim to secure another bowl victory following their triumphant 30-27 overtime win against Wyoming in last year’s Barstool Sports Bowl.

Despite Georgia Southern’s recent struggles, having lost their last four games after becoming bowl-eligible on October 26, running back Jalen White has been a standout performer with nine touchdowns and nearly 900 rushing yards in the 2023 season.
