Teen Titans Go is a spinoff of the original series. The only true similarities between the two are the set and characters at play. This series is episodic, and while the episodes are loosely connected they don’t weave a larger narrative as the original series does.

Many kids shows from this time developed a style that featured two shorter episodes in one 20 minute segment. Teen Titans Go follows this format along with other famous cartoons including Spongebob. The original series featured a full, 20 minute long narrative.
