More than 25 million people went on a cruise in 2017, and the number continues to climb. Most of these cruise ships left with passengers in the winter months to help people escape from the cold.

The winter is the best time to visit the Galápagos Islands. This time of year is their summer season.
The summer is the best time to visit the islands because the water is much calmer and you can see underwater. Try snorkeling or wildlife spotting while you are there!
