Always remember that “We Are What We Eat”, hence utmost importance should be given to our eating habits.
1. Make sure you’re eating enough.
2. Stop weighing yourself so much.
3.Replace stress-eating with stress-reducing activities.
4. Avoid plateaus altogether by setting lifestyle goals that have nothing to do with weight loss.
5. Don’t deprive yourself. Do strive for balance.
6. Drink less booze.
7. Learn about nutrition and exercise and experiment to see what works.
8. Take it one healthy choice at a time and before you know it you’ll be on autopilot.
9. Commit to making just one meal a bit healthier.
10. Spend time around people who are seriously hell-bent on achieving their goals.
11. Create a morning routine that will set you up for a day of healthy choices.
12. Eat a serving of green vegetables three times a day.
13. Instead of setting goals for how you want to look, set goals for how strong, fast, or fit you want to feel.
14. Get some coaching.
15. Bring healthier but delicious stuff to get-togethers.
16. Whenever you have the urge to smoke a cigarette do hot yoga instead.
17. Fill up half your plate with veggies. Leave the other half empty.
18. Start calling carrots “candy bars.” When you get a mid-afternoon sugar craving, indulge in a candy bar.
19. Choose a parking spot that’s a little farther away from your destination. When you get out of your car, jog in place vigorously for 20–30 minutes.
20. Resolve to only eat packaged snacks while they’re still in their packaging. This should help you eat them less frequently, and the packaging may provide additional fiber.
21. Instead of drinking that sugary coffee drink, pour it out on your hands so they’re scalded and you’re unable to pick up food or utensils for a little while.
