In today’s times staying fit is absolutely necessary. The best part is that rising technology has ensured that there are multiple methods by which you can ensure fitness for yourself.
In fact, it is not necessary that you just have to go to the gym or on a walk to ensure that your fitness levels stay up to the mark. One of the most effective and stylish modes of doing that is buying a fitness tracker for yourself.
These simple devices look gorgeous on your hand and provide you all details about your steps traveled, heartbeat, distance walked and other important details.
Here we bring to you the Best Fitness Trackers which are easily one of the most suitable and successful ones available in the market.
With an analysis of their features, you can make your decision quite conveniently. Plus also identify what factors make each of the unique and praiseworthy for its users.
Best Fitness Trackers
1. Fitbit Charge 3 Fitness Activity Tracker
Get a deeper understanding of your body, your health and your progress with Fitbit Charge 3. This swim proof advanced fitness tracker does more than count steps-it tracks 24/7 heart rate, calorie burn, 15+ exercises, goal progress, sleep and more.
Every day, you’ll find valuable insights about your health that will empower you to take action, improve yourself and reach your goals.
The Fitbit company has successfully redesigned its most popular activity tracker, the Charge 2, with the Charge 3 model. Although the new Fitbit’s flagship device doesn’t bring any groundbreaking features and is probably not so smart as Apple Watch, it’s definitely a good activity tracker you’d consider wearing every day. To begin with, it tracks a pretty broad range of activities as well as your steps, calories burned, heart rate, and sleep quality.
It’s very accurate and can automatically detect the type of your workout activity. However, it has one significant thing missing – onboard GPS. This means that you’ll need to have your phone with you to be able to use all of its features.
2. Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate
Fitbit will not provide warranty on international version products sold in the US.
“I’ve been wearing this every day for half a year now and I can confidently say that is has changed my life for the better. Just being aware of my various biostatistics really helps me to make better choices in my life. I think my only complaint would be that the heart-rate monitor sometimes doesn’t work if I’m too sweaty, but a quick swipe of the sensor takes care of that immediately.
It is comfortable to wear (I don’t even notice it anymore unless it’s not on my wrist) and the battery lasts for several days even when on constant-update mode. It is easy to wear, easy to use, and easy to configure settings to work the way I want them to.
I also like its social aspect; I can connect with my friends who also have Fitbits and compare information that I want to share with them. I like that I can charge it in my car and not miss out on any steps or sleep. One of the best functions is the sleep monitoring, which measures when I am in deep, light, REM sleep, or awake.”
3. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active
The lightweight, yet durable Galaxy Watch Active understands the way you work out. With auto workout tracking, you’ll have the power to reach new goals. Plus a suite of apps help you to monitor your stress and sleep while you stay connected.
The Galaxy Watch Active ($200 at Amazon) is the sportier, slimmer sibling of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Watch ($266 at Amazon) from 2018. It’s a lighter version of the watch in every sense of the word, with a noticeably thinner body and a slightly smaller screen that comes in only one size with no LTE option. Still, it’s at a price that’s hard to beat.
At $200, it’s almost half the price of an Apple Watch Series 4 ($385 at Amazon) and $130 dollars cheaper than the original Galaxy Watch. It also lacks the Apple Watch’s more advanced heart and health features. But it one-ups the similarly priced Fitbit Versa ($191 at Amazon), with onboard GPS, better integration for Android phones, and Spotify support, although the Fitbit still wins for battery life.
4. Garmin vivofit 4 Activity Tracker with Chest Strap Heart Rate Monitor
Find more ways to beat yesterday with easy-to-use vivofit 4. It brings you activity tracking and the freedom to keep moving without taking a break to recharge. With its 1+ year battery life, vivofit 4 is perfect to wear 24/7, so you’re always tracking your activity, automatically classifying it with Move IQ and so much more. Garmin Move IQ feature automatically detects activity and classifies activity type on Garmin Connect.
24/7 WearableThe vivofit 4 activity tracker follows your progress 24/7 and lets you ditch the charging cord, thanks to its 1+ year battery life. It’s also safe for the pool or the shower, and its always-on color display is bright and easy to see, even in the sunlight. Let your personality shine through by customizing the screen with color themes, watch faces and text phrases or by swapping out the band for a different one. Accessory bands are available in various colors and styles.
Convenience on Your WristWith vivofit 4, we’re bringing you several new tools designed to make life a little more convenient. Use the weather widget for a quick, illustrated look at what the day is going to bring. Set an alarm in the app that will go off on your device, or even set a countdown timer right from your wrist to remind you when it’s time to turn off the oven. Misplaced your phone? vivofit 4 can help you with that, too.
The Garmin vívofit 4 offers the most features of any fitness tracker we could find under $100. It’s smaller than most wristwatches and about as low-profile as a device with a built-in display can get. It’s comfortable and customizable, with several different band options and an attractive color display, although the screen is quite small.
Our testers appreciated Garmin’s intuitive physical interface, clean and user-friendly app, and integration capabilities with MyFitnessPal for nutrition tracking. Also unique in a fitness tracker under $100, the vívofit 4 can track a range of different movements automatically with its MoveIQ algorithm and can sync with an ANT+ chest strap heart rate monitor for zone training and more detailed information during workouts.
5. Fitbit Alta HR, Black, Large
The Alta HR Wristband is Fitbit’s slimmest heart rate monitor, and while it’s an excellent choice for fitness training, you’ll end up wearing it a lot more than just at the gym, on the treadmill, or at the track. Its PurePulse obviously shines when you’re working out thanks to better calorie burn tracking and more insight into your health than any Fitbit band has ever offered before, but Alta’s SmartTrack auto-recognition also records how many miles you walked or commuted for a complete registry of your overall fitness.
This smart little wristband also records your sleeping habits throughout the night, syncs with your smartphone to deliver calls and texts, and will remind you to move if you’ve been slightly slothful. The customized clock and replaceable bands let you find a look and style that best suits you. Syncing range: Up to 6.1 m, Syncing requires Bluetooth LE and Internet connection.
Windows 10 computers that do not have Bluetooth LE will need a wireless sync dongle in order to sync. Syncs with Mac OS X 10.6 and up, iPhone 4S and later, iPad 3 gen. and later, Android 4.4 and later, and Windows 10 devices. Care: Alta HR is rain, sweat and splash proof, but not shower or swim proof. If your tracker gets wet or if you sweat in it, remove and completely dry the band before putting it back on. Give your wrist a rest by taking the band off every now and then, and regularly clean your band and wrist.
Fitbit Alta collects a lot of important data about your activity throughout a day. Moreover, this gadget boasts an eye-catching design so it perfectly fits any clothing you wear. If for any reason you don’t like black band supplied in the package – choose another one (several colors are available).
The gadget is made of premium-quality materials – even some 22 kt medicine-grade gold is used! Therefore, Fitbit Alta fitness tracker can be worn instead of a wrist watch. The display of the gadget can be easily adjusted to your personal preferences, so you can pick the most convenient settings (brightness, clock orientation, etc.).
This device has lots of sensors that allow you to fully control your daily activities and achievements. For example, the SmartTrack technology automatically recognizes the kind of exercise you are currently doing. Therefore, you don’t need to set your gadget manually. Once paired with a smartphone, the display will show you incoming calls, text messages, messages on social networks, and so on.
Thus, you won’t need to touch your smartphone! Activity trackers have already changed lives of million people worldwide and Fitbit Alta is certainly one of the best gadgets for keeping fit and living a healthy active life. Top style. Top quality. Top efficiency.
6. Garmin Forerunner 935 Running GPS Unit

For the “looks count, too” in you, interchangeable bands let you quickly change bands for a new Sport or style. Forerunner 935 also has smart notifications, automatic uploads and connect IQ compatibility for custom Watch faces and apps.
“Best choice on any activity-measuring tool I’ve bought yet. It replaced three other programs and devices, yet is more accurate and dependable than any of the others.
I like the way I can incorporate all my important metrics into one screen, from food intake to all aspects of performance to heart-monitoring to even more. Worth it. Recommend it. I am a triathlon athlete who is busy with life, family, and work, and this tool helps a lot.”
7. Fitbit Versa Smart Watch
Includes all Versa Lite Edition features plus: store and play 300+ songs, utilize on-screen workouts that play on your wrist and coach you through every move and track swim laps and floors climbed.
I wake up to a buzzing on my wrist, in gentle pulses. It’s my Fitbit Versa’s alarm clock. I’m able to use the silent alarm because I’m wearing my Fitbit smartwatch to bed. I’m able to wear it to bed because Fitbit’s new watch lasts several days on a charge.
I love that. It’s a nice flashback to my days of wearing watches by Pebble — the upstart smartwatch pioneer that Fitbit acquired in the closing days of 2016. In fact, the Versa is literally, as a coworker said, like the Apple Watch and Pebble had a little baby.
8. Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro Smart Fitness Band
Reach your goals with the ultimate fitness partner, the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro. Durable and swim-ready, the Gear Fit2 Pro syncs with fitness apps, plays your music, stays on top of your stats and connects you to your world.
The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro has a beautiful color display screen that rivals some smartwatches in terms of functionality and user experience.
Unlike most fitness trackers, there isn’t a huge learning curve to figure out how to access different functions, move through menus, or understand exactly what it’s showing you.
Plus, it ships with more than 3,000 available apps that will let you customize the watch face, listen to Spotify, and more.
9. Garmin vivofit 3 Activity Tracker
Garmin vivo fit 3 Activity Tracker, Regular fit – Black.
The Garmin Vivofit 3 is a lower-range wearable that offers some great features. It comes with a silicone band (white, black, or camo) that wraps around your hand fairly snugly and is comfy to wear 24/7.
The clasp has a durable locking mechanism that prevents it from ripping even if you wear it while doing some extremely vigorous exercises. And, it’s 5 ATM rated, meaning it is safe to use while swimming in a pool or when taking a bath or shower.
10. Garmin Forerunner 35
Garmin Forerunner 35 Watch, Black. Accelerometer (calculates distance for indoor workouts, without need for a foot pod). Android Requirements-4.4 OS or later, Bluetooth 4.0 or later. Apple iOS Requirements-iOS 10.0 or later, Compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.
“I think this watch is clunky and unattractive. Having said that, I can’t stop wearing it. I love running with it … keeping an eye on my heart rate, clocking my laps and pace on runs, and seeing notifications and texts that come in on my smartphone. I rely on this watch so much that I can’t stop wearing it. I know the more expensive model looks neater, but I just couldn’t justify spending more. It runs out of juice in four to five days, depending on data usage. I’m confident it will work just fine for a whole marathon, since I just ran 16 miles with it and it only went down two bars after I completed the run.”
11. Fitbit Charge 4 Fitness
Use built-in GPS to see your pace and distance on screen during outdoor runs, rides, hikes and more and see a workout intensity map in the app that shows your heart rate changes along your route. With Active Zone Minutes, feel a buzz when you reach your target heart rate zones during exercise, and celebrate when you earn extra minutes outside of exercise. See your SpO2 nightly average and range on wrist, and view trends over the past week in the Fitbit app.
I won’t be like everyone who gives a bad review because they clearly got a dud (or user-error as it often is). I’ll give it an honest assessment. The app is amazing, that goes without saying. The quality of the band is nice, but it’s a bit hefty, made bulkier by the textured diamond pattern in the band. The clasp is a bit cumbersome as well, and feels a bit like cheap plastic. I’ll reserve my judgments on that until it breaks.
12. Bright Touchscreen Display GPS Smartwatch
See everything clearly on a bright color display that includes an always-on mode, perfect for quick glances. Health is important to you, so monitor everything from your Body Battery energy levels, respiration, hydration and stress to sleep, your menstrual cycle, estimated heart rate and more. Find new ways to keep moving with more than 20 preloaded sports apps, including walking, running, cycling, mindful breathing, swimming, golf and many more.
Beautiful watch; however the wrist heart rate is way off which makes several of the other stats irrelevant. This is very disappointing for a very expensive watch.
13. New Apple Watch Series 6
GPS model lets you take calls and reply to texts from your wrist. Measure your blood oxygen with an all-new sensor and app. Check your heart rhythm with the ECG app. Track your daily activity on Apple Watch and see your trends in the Fitness app on iPhone. Measure workouts like running, walking, cycling, yoga, swimming, and dance. Swim proof design Sync your favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
Poor product quality, mine came defective charger cable and watch crown was flimsy, dont buy from here, get it from Store in Person.
14. GPS Running Watch
Swim, bike, run — do it all with a smartwatch that uses multiple satellite systems to accurately track your workouts. Switch up your workout routine whenever you like with preloaded activity profiles for running, triathlon, multisport, cycling, pool swimming, track running and more. receive on-device run and cycling daily workout suggestions based on your current training load and vo2 max.
Simply awful. So confusing and won’t even do what it’s intended to do. All I wanted was a watch that would tell me my pace. So annoying.
15. Small GPS Smartwatch
Small stylish smartwatch complements your look with a unique decorative lens that reveals a bright touchscreen display with a tap. Choose from classic or sport designs with a variety of color, metal and band options – including leather and silicone – so you can find the perfect piece to fit your look. When paired with a compatible smartphone, stay connected with smart notifications for incoming calls, text messages, calendar reminders and more.
I love the watch but I only get 2 1/2 to 3 days out of a charge and purchased it expecting closer to 5. It’s my first smart watch and I love it except for the battery issue. I’m slightly disappointed.
16. SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active
Track your way to real results: Automatically detects up to 6 exercises, while tracking up to 39 more, right from your wrist. Resolve to rest better; Helps you analyze your sleep patterns and encourages you to wind down to keep you refreshed and at your best; Compatible devices: Samsung Smartphone, Non Samsung Android Smartphone(Android OS 5.0 and above RAM 1.5GB and above), iOS 9.0 and above iPhone 5 and above.
I am so happy with my new watch it works very well and you can see who’s calling or texting with out looking at your phone you can ping your phone directly from your watch and you can also ping your watch from your phone now you can answer calls from your phone but once you hit accept call on the watch it will say “check phone” and you will have to speak through your phone text messages.
17. Garmin Instinct Solar
Vastly extended battery life through solar charging. Rugged GPS Watch is water-rated to 100 meters and constructed to U.S. military standard 810 for thermal, shock and water resistance. Built-in 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter plus multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, Gleans and Galileo) track in more challenging environments than GPS alone.
If you want to flush over $300 down the toilet, buy this watch! Since purchasing, I’ve taken the watch out on several hikes. Before setting out, I draw out all of my routes in CalTopo and import into Gaia, so my mileage and cumulative elevation gain are known prior/after.
18. Smartwatch with Heart Rate
Use amazon Alexa built in to get quick news and information, check the weather, set timers and alarms, control your smart home devices and more all through the sound of your voice. Based on your heart rate, time asleep and restlessness, sleep score helps you better understand your sleep quality each night. Also track your time in light, deep and REM sleep stages and get personal insights.
One more update: I moved it from 1 star to 3 stars. Somehow, the battery now lasts as it did initially. I don’t know how it happened, but for a few months I get 3 weeks out of the battery, and the watch had no glitch, working well with the older version of the app.
19. Fitbit Charge 4 Fitness and Activity Tracker
Use 24×7 heart rate to track resting heart rate & better measure calorie burn. Syncing to mobile devices requires Bluetooth LE and internet connection.
I won’t be like everyone who gives a bad review because they clearly got a dud. I’ll give it an honest assessment. The app is amazing, that goes without saying. The quality of the band is nice, but it’s a bit hefty, made bulkier by the textured diamond pattern in the band.
20. Xiaomi Mi Band 6 Activity Tracker High
No. 1 Wearable in the World, XIAOMI Mi Band 6 Is Finally Here: With a 40% larger dynamic AMOLED touch screen, magnetic snap charging, SpO2 Sensor, 24-hour active heart monitoring and 100+ watch faces to choose from. MAGNETIC CHARGE & LONG LASTING BATTERY: Fully charges in only 2 hours with convenient USB magnetic charging that snaps securely on or off. Long lasting battery life with up to 14 days of standby time.
I’m really happy with this fitness watch. I like the colorful display. It has so many different faces to pick from, and several that you can add your own photo background to. I change the face often. I like the many options of picking what you want to be displayed on the watch and where you want it displayed. I’m still figuring out how to do some things on it, but I’ve only had it 1 week.
