What do you like best?
I love how vast Hootsuite is. You can use Hootsuite for social media analytics, posting, sharing or blogging, measuring your performance, content management, I can go on for days. I downloaded the mobile Hootsuite app for Android to my cell phone, as well as added the Chrome extension to my browser.

What do you dislike?
I am actually having one issue currently with content that posts to my company Facebook pages. When I use the AutoSchedule feature and this includes a little backlink that will send clickers to the desired location – my problem is when I use this feature for Facebook, it does not include the Owly Link. Only on Twitter does it include the link. I contacted support but he was asking for a screenshot and at the time I was unable to further assist him with the information he needed. I will revisit and contact support at a later date.

Recommendations to others considering the product
I would recommend adding Hootsuite to the budget if social media (content) managing is in your line of work. They take loads off your shoulders with their easy-to-use extension, mobile app, support bot, help desk, and AutoSchedule Feature. Also the different Streams you’re able to use or create can come in handy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I use Hootsuite across multiple platforms including my cellular device and my desktop computer via the Hootsuite Chrome extension. I use the tool to share, re-blog, post, and create content. I also love the ease of measuring your analytics. No new vocabulary to learn or fancy gimmicks.

Review: BESTADVISOR

AgoraPulse does not offer the cheapest social media management tools for business on the market, though not the most expensive either. Its price, however, is more than justified, which you will know as you check out the features it has.

The best thing about this service provider is that most features are available even with the cheapest plan, the most noticeable difference between the plans being the number of profiles and users it includes. Therefore, even if you are a somewhat budget-strapped individual entrepreneur, you can obtain a feature-packed plan at a more than affordable price.

Snapchat was released in 2011, so there are relatively few marketing tools available for the platform compared to big names like Facebook and Twitter. The app works through the creation of short-lived ‘stories’ with which users can interact.

Snaplytics is designed to help you manage this by taking regular snapshots of your Snapchat account and offering you Insights. The creators maintain groups of 20 accounts for each category, allowing you to benchmark your own account’s success.

You can also use Snaplytics’ library of previously created content to view past efforts, see how well users engage with them, and republish if you wish.

What do you like best?
I love the ability to make one post on many social platforms at once, especially Google My Business. Other platforms do not have that option. I love the reporting, monitoring and messages section of the software. With the app, you can post on the go.

What do you dislike?
Sometimes I am able to post on Instagram without the app and Sometimes I am not. It is annoying .. I understand why it is so but I really wish it was not. I think that’s something for Instagram to work out.. So nothing really. Nothing I dislike

There are quite a few social listening tools that we could have picked out for this list, but we’ve gone with the internationally-renowned Brandwatch. The Brandwatch Analytics tool puts its ear to the ground to eavesdrop on to the information that could be imperative to your company from Facebook, Twitter, blogs, forums, news and every other corner of the web.

Rather like Sprout Social above, Buffer is another all-rounder that lets you post to your platform and then analyse the results. One of its major plus points is just how simple and straightforward it is to use, while also giving you flexibility. The fact it provides analytics in real-time makes instantly judging the impact of your content a doddle.

What do you like best?
The features are incredible. So easy to use. I love the 24hr support (which I use regularly). The best thing is that the platform is just getting better and better. They clearly listen to what their customers want because every update is just AMAZING. Instagram hashtag suggestion is amazing. Publishing without push notifications is incredible. Feed/keyword monitoring is powerful. Can’t wait to start making use of the influencer feature.

What do you dislike?
Despite being an amazing software, the editing software that has now been removed has added a little bit of extra time to my day. In saying that, it is not enough for me to even consider using any other management software. I also wish you could choose a thumbnail for instagram videos and had more options for Facebook video thumbnails. I also wish we could do more on Linkedin
