This is a prerequisite for any blog to be successful. Therefore nowadays people add forums to their blogs as that gives a certain level of voice to their thinking.
Maybe you also want to do the same but are confused over the process. Here we share with you certain tools which you can use effectively to add a forum easily.
We have also mentioned their benefits for you and after reading them you would be able to figure out which of them are the most useful.
Not to forget that they would propel your blog into a new arena where more and more people are able to reach out to you.
vBulletin™ is the world leader in forum and community publishing software. Customers have created vibrant communities for over 10 years on vBulletin’s stable and mature platform. Developed with security, powerful administration features and speed in mind, it serves over 40,000 online communities. We provide world-renowned technical support, with the average support ticket answered within 3 hours, at any time of the day or night, 7 days a week. Pros: VBulletin feels like it’s been around forever. Probably because it has. It works, and there’s a reason pretty much every board runs on it: It’s easy and fast and lightweight and does the basics you need it to do.
Cons: For a software that has been around this long, it rests on its laurels a bit. There are functionalities that could be developed, but haven’t been (better mobile RWD and implementation of more…current graphics layouts and design). Perhaps people are trending away from bulletins, but maybe they wouldn’t as much if the raw UI design and graphics weren’t quite so dated!
bbPress is forum software with a twist from the creators of WordPress. Easily setup discussion forums inside your WordPress.org powered site.
Thinking about adding more community interaction to your WordPress blog? A forum where visitors can sign up and interact with each other is a great addition to any site.
Forums Can Help You:
- Engage with your audience: Unless there’s something to bring them back to your website, most visitors won’t return after one visit. If there’s an active community they can sign up for and participate in, it will give them a reason to keep coming back.
- Increase loyalty: When users return to your site, again and again, to participate in your forums, they will be more likely to remember and choose your brand.
- Conduct research: A forum on your website is a great way to get data on the thoughts and feelings about your target audience. You can easily see right on your own website what their top concerns, needs, and motivations are.
