Last week some users of WhatsApp found an interesting hack that is going to make our lives much simpler. Now you can retrieve your lost and deleted messages with this trick.
This means that the content you thought had vanished could now be restored causing troubles for you. The catch is that you have to reinstall WhatsApp and when you log in just restore all the chats from your backup.
This feat can be achieved because the app actually backs up all the messages at around 2 am daily. They have a constant log of everything that has been sent or received.
Previously also concerns were raised about the delete for everyone feature that the app provides. People were concerned that the feature was not able to do the work for which it has been created.
In end 2017 a Spanish blog named Android Jefe had figured out a hack by which users could still view their unsent messages.
Whenever you receive a notification about any message in Android it gets stored in the mobile’s notification log.
Even though most of the information stored is technical the glitch is that the first 100 characters of the notification message would also be stored.
This despite the fact that you might have deleted the notifications from your side. To access the notification log the users can download a notification history app which gives all such details.
You could also create a home screen settings widget and in that, you can add a ‘notification registration’ option.
How To Retrieve Deleted Whatsapp Messages
- Uninstall WhatsApp from your iPhone or Android
- Re-install it from the app store
- Log-in, then restore your conversations from back-up
