India, after a clinical performance against Bangladesh, would be more than pleased with the results but more than that they would be much more excited and eager as they face their favorite opponent Pakistan in the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
Batsmen in form, bowlers on target and fielding top notch — Virat Kohli’s men have covered all bases so far and Safaraz’s men — after their lucky entry into semi- finals and then winning semi-final by beating the hosts have boosted them immensely – so now to Win the finals as well they will have to pull off something really special at the Kennington Oval, London.
For India, nothing short of a win in the finals will satisfy them while Pakistan is standing at the cusp of what could be the biggest day in their cricketing history if they manage to pull off a victory. It’ll be interesting to see which combination Kohli picks for the match.
It will be interesting to see if India retain Ravichandran Ashwin or bring Umesh Yadav back as his pace scared the Pakistani batsmen earlier., their aim will be to repeat the performance of the Asia Cup once again. But the 50-over or test or t20 game of India versus Pakistan contests have never been short of drama — thanks to the overly passionate fans and media.
For now, we would just like to say this Sunday the roads will have no traffic, shops would remain closed, offices would be shut completely, no tuitions or any work will be done, the sale of crackers will be high and the sale of TV in Pakistan would be very high if India Wins.
