Age is just another number, the true love knows no boundary. These two statements are fact and proved by this sweet couple’s story. Jim Adams and Audrey Coutts met met through an online dating site during the pandemic.
After a wild romance lasting eight months, they got married on September 25, and their wedding photos went across social media.
According to Oprah Daily, Jim Adams was a painter and a retired professor who lost his wife in the year 2017 following the couple’s 38-year marriage.
In the midst of the pandemic, the 78-year old joined an online dating app that was designed for those who are over 50. In the app, he met Audrey who was a retired 79-year-old insurance broker. She was divorced at the age of 33.
“I came across Audrey on my first go-through on the site,” said Jim. “It only took a day to find her. After that, I didn’t need it anymore. I said, ‘Well, I have to meet this person who’s as crazy as I am,’” he added.
In the photo taken by their photographer Julie Rand, the loved-up couple looked stunning together.
The son of Jim Adams, JJ Adams also shared their photo on Twitter and the post quickly became viral, with people enjoying their story. The post has racked up more than 1.5 lakh likes since it was posted.
