It’s is a great app I do not see why other people are saying that it is ‘very inappropriate’ when it is not. Your child has to be old enough, and all of my children use it appropriately.

What Do You Like Best?
Personally, telegram seems to be the best messaging client to date, I think the feature that best defines this application and why it stands out is that all communication is encrypted at both ends, unlike other applications Telegram does not sell the data of its users for advertising purposes.
Another thing to note about Telegram is the ability to enable chat applications that act as an automatic response bot to improve the user experience. For example, we can configure a bot as a support for our application, or a bot to control our telegram group and avoid spam.
Something that also highlights Telegram on other messaging applications is the number of users that can support in a group, I have come to see groups of 80,000 people, something unthinkable in other applications.
What Do You Dislike?
What I do not like about Telegram is the amount of spam that exists in any group, when you enter a group automatically you always have a lot of Bot opening private messages with SPAM, even disabling the possibility that only your friends can talk to you.
Recommendations To Others Considering The Product
I recommend using Telegram if you are looking for a secure messaging client where you can make calls or send messages without the need for a phone number. If you are worried about your privacy, this application is undoubtedly your option.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Telegram is a very useful application in the business scope, I am using it as ChatBot support to answer common questions automatically.

Tried to uninstall and download again but I can’t open it on my HTC one m8 or my android tablet. update: Line has become better since my previous post in 2015. the developers still haven’t made the app cross-platform where you can install the app on multiple platforms and devices.
You can only have it on one device and that’s it, so I can’t download and use on my iPad if I have the app installed on my Google phone. also, personal notifications are not good if someone messages you in a group chat.
6. Google Hangouts
Use Hangouts to keep in touch. Message contacts, start free video or voice calls and hop on a conversation with one person or a group.
- Include all your contacts with group chats for up to 150 people.
- Say more with status messages, photos, videos, maps, emoji, stickers, and animated GIFs.
- Turn any conversation into a free group video call with up to 10 contacts.
- Call any phone number in the world (and all calls to other Hangouts users are free!).
- Connect your Google Voice account for phone calls, SMS texting, and voicemail integration.
- Keep in touch with contacts across Android, iOS, and the web, and sync chats across all your devices.

Review: Capterra
Pros: Simple, intuitive yet powerful. Simple chatting with co-workers has declined on Hangouts since we started using Slack, however, Hangouts remains our default tool for video calling and online conferencing. The best about it is that its easy to use, simply calling from the chat window, or, as we mostly use it, by creating a calendar event and joining from Hangouts. It usually works well, without delays, and we can screen share easily for remote co-working.
Cons: Its a bit connection intensive. If your connection is seeing a lot of use, then Hangouts might be a bit slow. We usually turn the camera off to save some bandwidth, especially if we are screen sharing since we don’t need to see each other anyway. The audio and shared screen is the usual way to work on Hangouts for us, and we do use it often. I’d say that over 80% of our company meetings have someone joining via Hangouts.
Overall: Our company has a very flexible work-from-home policy, which means that most of our meetings occur with someone joining via Hangouts. It’s usually a very good experience, we share a screen and work very much like we were sitting side by side. It’s especially useful for working on a shared Google document, both reading and editing at the same time. We also use it with clients, who are increasingly adopting Google suite as their corporative tool for emails and documents. We’ve grown so used to this way of remote collaborations that we cringe when asked to use Skype and get office documents attached to emails.

Review: iTunes
There are reviews on here that claim things like “it takes forever to send messages” or, “calls don’t work” or, “app takes forever to load” But, I personally have used this app and tried others that Claim to be free but then want to charge after the “free credits” are used – I have had occasional issues with the app “freezing” and sometimes the sound quality on calls could be better but, after restarting it, it works flawlessly and reliably and, it really IS 100% Free!

I think Mr Zimmerman is a genius. So I used his app from the beginning. I think a 3-star rating is harsh as SC pioneered secure VoIP. For the most part continual improvement. The move out of Switzerland to the U.S. is a major concern to me. Also, more information around the silent world is awesome.
Also being able to have more than phone number maybe 3 per user. I would also like a voice changer so if recorded by the party your talking to it sounds like someone totally different. Choose female or male and choose many accents even versions of accents. Make voice deeper.
9. HeyTell
HeyTell® is a cross-platform voice messenger & walkie talkie that allows you to instantly talk with friends & family who use Android, iOS, and Windows Phone 7 devices with the press of a single button.

We love it. My group of pals are spread across the country and are in our late 30s and early 40s. We stay in touch almost exclusively thru Heytell (in chipmunk voices). We all wish that a setting could be enabled so that we could capture and keep our favourite heytells of each other to save or send to others.
It may be a privacy issue, but surely it can be made to be adjusted so that the message creator can allow his or her messages to be shared by others. It also crashes constantly on the iPhone now.
Can we get help with our favourite app, please? We use it all the time and don’t mind paying! I’d picture could be sent it would be awesome. My group toggles back and forth from Heytell to FB messenger to get the features of both. Thanks for the great APP! Please fix the crashes on iOS?!
10. Voxer
Voxer Walkie Talkie is a free app that combines the best of Live Voice, text, photos, and videos into a powerful secure messaging tool. Voxer is the only walkie talkie messenger with end-to-end encryption.

I’ve been using this app for a few years now without many problems. Lately all my incoming messages are being marked as heard before I even open the app.
It’s pretty annoying because to the people sending me the messages it looks like I listen to them and then go hours without responding. Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated.
