Every year, over 42 million people visit Las Vegas. It’s known as “Sin City,” as both gambling and prostitution are both legal there.

If you’ve never been there before, you may be wondering about things you must do in Vegas, besides those 2 ideas.

Are you thinking about what to put on your Vegas to-do list? Then here are 8 fun and crazy things to do in Vegas for your first trip.

1. Clubbing

One of the things to do in Vegas is clubbing, especially since the city’s known for its amazing nightlife.

Las Vegas’s clubs are known for their resident DJs who are renowned, such as Calvin Harris, Zedd, and Tiesto.

The biggest clubs include Hakkasan, XS, Omnia, and Marquee.

Make sure to arrive early and be dressed to impress. It can take several hours to get into some of the bigger clubs, especially if a huge name is playing that night.

Plus, these clubs have strict dress codes, so make sure to do your research before leaving for Vegas.

Don’t think that clubbing is just for the nighttime either. Clubbing is one of the best things to do in Las Vegas during the day.

During the summer, most (if not all) of the clubs have day parties, usually by the pool.

This means you can party all day if that’s your idea of a fun and crazy time!

2. Flowrider At Planet Hollywood

You may be somewhere that’s landlocked, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t surf!

FlowRider at Planet Hollywood is a wave simulator that’s located on the Scene Pool Deck at this restaurant.

Here, you can safely practice your moves while pretending you’re at a nearby beach.

And when you get tired, you can grab a cocktail and relax by the beautiful pool, without a worry in the world.

3. Skyjump At The Strat

The STRAT is a hotel that you just can’t miss. The Stratosphere SkyPod tower looks similar to the Seattle Space Needle and stands at 1,149 tall.

At the top, you can indulge in SkyJump, which is a bungee jump that lets you dive 829 feet! This is definitely not an attraction that’s for the faint of heart. However, it’s surely one of the things to do in Las Vegas on your bucket list.

4. Insanity At The Strat

Are you chomping at the bit to go for more after Skyjump? In that case, there’s more to do at The STRAT.

Insanity is a ride at the SkyPod that extends out 64 feet over the edge of the building.

This means you’ll be suspended above the ground of over 866 feet. Then, you’ll be spun up to 3 Gs and at an angle of 70 degrees.

The end result? You’ll be tilted straight down!

Again, this is not for the faint of heart. But if you’re courageous and adventurous, then this is definitely one of the things you have to do in Vegas.

5. X-Scream At The Strat

Ok, here’s one more exciting thing for your Las Vegas to-do list that’s at The STRAT. X-Scream is a rollercoaster that’s very similar to a teeter-totter, except it’s 866 feet above the ground!

First, it’ll charge forward, putting you 27 feet past the edge of the SkyPod.

Then, X-Scream will pull you back to the original position. The ride will repeat this several times until your adrenaline is shot.

You’ll definitely get your thrills from X-Scream when you come to Vegas!

6. Big Apple Coaster At New York-New York

This is another rollercoaster for those of you who are enthusiasts. This rollercoaster takes you through the whole resort’s outside and includes a 180-degree “heartline” twist and drive maneuver, which is the first in the world to do so.

Also, they’ve recently added VR capabilities. If you choose to add this, you’ll get to see all sorts of aliens and monsters during your ride on the Big Apple Coaster.

7. Dream Racing At The Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Have you always watched racing on TV and wished you could experience something like that in your lifetime? Well, at Dream Racing, you can!

At this speedway, you’ll get to drive exotic cars and speed away like a dream. However, it’s always safety first, of course.

In the beginning, you’ll go through a thorough course where you’ll learn how to handle these exotic cars, including learning how to drive manual.

After, you’ll sit in the passenger seat to see how a pro handles the car. And at last, you’ll be able to get behind the wheel yourself!

8. Shoot A Gun At Various Ranges

Maybe you come from somewhere where guns aren’t legal at all. Or maybe they are, but you’re not comfortable getting and handling one of your own.

In that case, one of the things to do in Vegas during the day that’s both fun and crazy is to go to a shooting range. There are plenty in Vegas, so choose your pick.

Once you’ve settled on a range, you can go in, look at what they have to offer, and then get a few rounds off at a target a two.

It’s definitely an unforgettable experience; how many people can even say they’ve shot a gun before?
