Wedding day’s ‘first glance’ photos are special because they capture the love and raw emotions of the couple. One bride from the US is making waves online, after creating them with her dog rather than her husband. The images are absolutely adorable, and netizens cannot stop showing their love.
Hana Kim and Jarad Brickman tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Camp Colton, Oregon. Gumbo, her furry companion, was what captured everyone’s attention online.
Kim arrived in a chic white wedding gown and was holding her bouquet as she walked towards the bride. The golden retriever, wearing a floral wreath around its neck, was happy to finally get a glimpse of the bride. The pooch was delighted to see Kim in her wedding dress and ran after her.
Kim shared the photos and wrote, “I want a first glance with my dog.”
Stephanie Nachtrab, a wedding photographer, captured the moment and called it “the sweetest thing” that he had ever documented. Nachtrab commented on the bond between the bride and her dog, adding: “I’m so humbled that I got to capture just a small glimpse of his love for her.” Gumbo would tell you, “I’m so glad I got to marry mom today!”
The newlyweds were photographed with their three dogs Maple, Gumbo, and Aslan (left-to-right).
Oregon couple, who met through their dogs in 2014, ensured their furry friends were a part of their nuptials. From the first glance to the wedding favours featuring their dogs’ faces, and even the ring bearer, almost everything was four-legged.
Many netizens, particularly pet parents, were able to relate to the feelings of the bride and many praised her for her unique idea. They shared that it inspired them to recreate the moment with their pets at their wedding.
