Jenny Boyd (Lizzie Saltzman) attended the same acting class as Candice King, who plays Lizzie’s mother Caroline on The Vampire Diaries. The two were in the same class and after she got the part, Boyd approached King in class and announced, “I’m playing your daughter!”
