The sunglasses can also help to protect your eyes when the wind is blowing because the wind can dry out your eyes. Most of the time, if your eyes have been exposed to the elements all day, then they are going to be sore.

2. Protection

The second tip is to try to get daily contact lenses that have the UV protection built into them. There are some brands that will have an ultraviolet blocking tint built into the design of the lens.

But it is important to remember that they are not going to work the same as a good pair of sunglasses even though they can reduce the number of UV rays that your eyes will be exposed to.

But if you are using the combination of the two, then it will double the amount of protection that your eyes will have.

3. Disposable

The third tip is to get the contact lenses that you can dispose of every day. If your contact lenses are exposed to the sun and the wind, then you will have a lot of irritation and redness.

This means that your vision will not be very clear and your contacts will be very uncomfortable.

Therefore, if you will be outside for a long period of time you will need to ask your doctor about the daily contact lenses that are disposable. This is so that you don’t have to experience the sandy feeling in your eyes.
