1. Theme Park Capital Of The World
What Orlando is perhaps most known for is its theme parks — most notably Walt Disney World. This entertainment complex opened in 1971 and welcomes 52 million visitors every year. 5. Climate

Although it is enjoyed for many reasons as its temperatures are warm to hot throughout the year, its thunderstorms are to be respected as central Florida is the most lightning-prone area in the United States. Also note that hurricanes are always a threat from June to November.
