Professor Stephen Hawking’s sad demise on Wednesday prompted an outpouring of tributes , many of which came from famous celebrities.
Like many celebrities, Gadot paid tribute to the best-known theoretical physicist of his time after his death was announced.

Gadot tweeted Wednesday, “Rest in peace Dr. Hawking. Now you’re free of any physical constraints. Your brilliance and wisdom will be cherished forever.”

Gal Gadot was slammed over her tweet paying tribute to physicist Stephen Hawking, who died Wednesday.
While her well-meant tweet was seen as perfectly innocent by some, and fans pointed out it might simply be “badly worded”, others felt it discriminated against people living with disabilities.
Despite the backlash, some people stuck up for Gadot and said her tweet was blown out of proportion. “Gal Gadot your tweet about Stephen Hawking’s death is misunderstood,” someone wrote.
