Sai Sudharsan is an up-and-coming cricketer with a lot of potential, especially in the T20 format.
Born on 15th October 2001, Sai Sudharsan is an Indian cricketer who has played in the Tamil Nadu Premier League.
He was the leading run-scorer for Alwarpet CC in the 2019/20 Raja of Palayampatti Shield, amassing 635 runs at an impressive average of 52.92.
He made his Twenty20 debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2021-22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 4th November 2021.
Sudharsan also made his List A debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2021-22 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 8th December 2021.
His performance in the local domestic T20 league in Chennai is impressive, amassing 358 runs in just eight matches with a healthy strike-rate of 143.8.
In the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament, Gujarat Titans acquired Sudharsan in February 2022. He made his IPL debut in April 2022 after Vijay Shankar was ruled out of the match due to an injury.
It is interesting to note that Sudharsan comes from a sporting background. His father was an athlete who represented India at the South Asian Games in Dhaka, while his mother was a state-level volleyball player.
