The Apple store has a lot to offer to its users. There are nearly 2.2 million apps and new ones are being generated every consecutive day.
In fact, the next year is going to see some more additions to the list and you may be spellbound by all that they have to offer to you.
However, there is a catch to all these statistics and that is almost half of these apps are not even worth giving a look forget downloading or buying them.
In such a scenario how is a person going to know if he or she has made the right decision by downloading a particular app for his smartphone. We are presenting to you a list of 25 best free iPhone Apps of 2019.
These apps are worth all your time and have been created only after keeping the interests of the user in mind.
Using them would be a pleasure that is difficult for any other option to beat.
There are also some apps which are quite convenient and enhance your working abilities making tasks more productive and simple to accomplish.
Go through this list and pick your choice after careful deliberations and analysis. We are sure you would not be disappointed with our choice.
1. Email – Edison Mail
Edison Mail is a smart email app with a built-in assistant feature designed to help you manage email faster and more effectively while you’re on the go.
Build your own custom swipes for the functions you use the most, set up smart notifications, quickly undo sends and unsubscribe with a single tap.
You can use it with any IMAP mail account plus most major email providers including Gmail, Hotmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Outlook, Office/Outlook 365, Exchange and AOL.
Review: iTunes
I used to use the stock iPhone email app, but grew tired of deleting emails and having them show up again (not ever actually getting deleted). So I used the outlook app for a while.
Then I found Edison and heard good things about it so I’d decided to give it a try..loved it for the first few weeks then I began doing what the stock email app did! I cannot delete emails! I refresh after I do so then five mins later the emails are there again like I never did!
2. Unroll.Me
Decluttering your inbox has never been so easy, or looked so good. With Unroll.Me, you can unsubscribe from unwanted emails, consolidate sales/newsletters/listserv emails into a convenient daily digest called the Rollup, and keep the rest in your inbox.
Review: iTunes
Every time I enter my e-mail for anything they sell to a third party and then I get e-mail ads galore. I don’t want to close my G-mail account.
That’s where Unroll me comes in, I like it that they ask first and you can keep what you want and unsubscribe from the rest.
Often when you go to the tiny unsubscribe at the bottom of the e-mail, it just takes you to the site and doesn’t unsubscribe you! Thank you for this app!
3. Bear
Bear is a focused, flexible writing app used by everyone from bloggers and web developers to aspiring authors and students! It has quick organization, editing tools, and export options to help you write quickly and share anywhere.
Bear is used by bloggers, book authors, lawyers, students, teachers, cooks, startups, travelers, families, and so many more!
Review: G2crowd
What do you like best?
I’ve been using the built-in iOS and Mac OS apps Notes for years, and I’m so glad a colleague recommended Bear to me.
Not only is it far more visually attractive, which is important to me – it’s far more customizable, and the organization techniques via hashtags are simple, useful, and intuitive.
What do you dislike?
So far, there’s not much that I dislike, besides some minor bugs with keeping the ‘title’ of a note in a larger, bold font so as to differentiate it from the body of the note.
Recommendations to others considering the product
By all means, download it! Pro subscriptions are only $15 a year which is well, well worth it.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It’s helping me stay organized much better than any other notation software. I can organize my business notes by hashtag to keep everything in its proper place.
4. IFTTT
IFTTT is a task automation tool you can take advantage of if you use a lot of apps and find yourself spending a lot of time doing repetitive functions manually.
Over 600 apps work with IFTTT including Twitter, Telegram, Google Drive, Twitch, Weather Underground, Instagram, Gmail, and devices like Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Nest, Philips Hue, and your iPhone. The IFTTT app also integrates with the Health app, so you can easily track and maintain your habits.
Review: iTunes
Needs to support multiple actions per trigger. Would be five stars if I didn’t have to use Stringify to perform multiple actions per trigger. This should be built in to IFTTT otherwise it’s only useful for the simplest of tasks.
5. Documents by Readdle
A central hub for all your files. Read, listen, view, annotate almost anything you want on your iPad and iPhone. Files, documents, books, any content is at home in Documents by Readdle. It’s the Finder for iOS you’ve always wanted.
You can import files from your computer, your cloud storage provider or nearby devices and manage them all with folders and colour-coded tags. Easily zip or unzip files, share files with others and integrate everything with your iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, or other cloud accounts. You’ll be able to read, listen, view or annotate files all in one convenient place.
Review: Cnet
The iPad and iPhone are not built for viewing and editing most types of files. There are no built-in applications for opening word processing documents, ZIP files, or images for editing. The App Store contains thousands of proprietary editing apps, but when you just want to look at a file, it’s surprisingly hard. That’s why Documents by Readdle is such a must-have app.
6. Moment – Reduce Screen Time
Moment enables you to use your phone in a healthy way, giving you back time for the parts of life that matter most. See how much time you’re spending on your phone and which apps you’re using most.
The app runs in the background as it tracks your screen time—providing you with daily, weekly and quarterly stats. Customize your settings to set screen-free time, a daily limit, tiny reminders and certain hours or apps to track. You can even integrate the app with family members to see their screen time data too.
Review: iTunes
The recent update sends way too many notifications. I liked it before when the app updates me on how much screen time I spent on my phone yesterday versus the day before.
7. Instapaper
Instapaper is the simplest way to save and store articles for reading: offline, on-the-go, anytime, anywhere, perfectly formatted.
Instapaper for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch provides a mobile-optimized text view that makes reading Internet content a clean and uncluttered experience. Instapaper also enhances the standard reading experience with features like text-to-speech, which can be controlled via the Apple Watch.
Instapaper will also optimize all of your saved links for mobile reading and viewing, making it much easier to consume on your iPhone. Web page clutter is stripped away so you get just the important content in a clean, newspaper-like tab. You can also organize and sort your links to keep the important ones you think are worth revisiting again and again.
Review: iTunes
I tried and nothing got saved on the iOS. Use the iOS share icon, saw the top message saying that the article is saved, but when I open the app, nothing. Try to get support and couldn’t fine support email at all.
8. Charity Miles
Giving back to charities that are important to you doesn’t have to take a lot of time or money when you use Charity Miles. The more you run, walk or cycle with the app tracking your activity in the background, the more money you earn for the charity of your choice.
Charity Miles is sponsored by organizations that donate money on your behalf, so it’s totally free on your part and acts as a great incentive to get moving. You can also select a different charity any time you want to start a new walk, run or bike ride.
Review: iTunes
App works great. I wish it was compatible with the Apple Watch so I don’t have to carry my phone all the time. Additionally, I think it’s added motivation to know exactly how much a mile is worth. I think if I can see the actual amount per mile, I might push myself a little further. Still great concept. Still needs a little work.
9. Cara: Food, Mood, Poop Tracker
Cara is the easiest way to monitor your (digestive) health. Developed by doctors, Cara helps you to understand the connection between your mind, gut, nutrition & wellbeing. Track food, stress, poop and tummy pain with a few taps. Add individual factors to create your own personalized health diary.
Review: iTunes
I began using Cara about 3 weeks ago. I like the options of the many different features (tracking food, digestion symptoms, BM symptoms, etc). While it may not be as accurate as an elimination diet, I really appreciate the foods on the best and worst 3 days—this is definitely a lot easier than an elimination diet. This has also helped me realize how much water I drink and that I also seem to have worse symptoms on days I drink less. Cara is a lot easier than writing out a traditional food diary.
The one thing that is both a pro and a con is that you simply track food, no portions or nutrient info. This is a pro because it means I simply have to eat and add ingredients in—no measuring or counting portions, no extra time spent adding in portions. It’s a con because it would be nice to look at if smaller portions of some things are more tolerable or if I am meeting nutrient recommendations as nutrient deficiencies are common with the digestive related problems I have.
10. Sworkit: Workouts & Plans
No more gym, or weights, or excuses. Sworkit is the workout program for people who have felt too busy to workout, beginners, athletes, travelers, people with injuries, the young, the old. Did we miss anyone?
Whether you’re at the gym, on the road or just at home, Sworkit can be your free personal trainer for almost any type of workout. Just select whether you want to get leaner, fitter or stronger and then set your fitness level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) to find a program.
Review: PCMag
Pros
Workout-on-demand app with fair premium price. Can build custom workouts. The wide range of exercises. Includes premade workouts.
Cons
No dynamic adjustment based on progress or fitness level.
Bottom Line
Among workout-on-demand apps, SworkIt is a top choice if you like control over your exercise routines.
11. BUNZ
Join the world’s fastest growing community of people trading clothing, plants, accessories, furniture and more.
Decluttering your home or workspace is easier and more fun than ever with BUNZ—particularly if you’re open to trading stuff you want to give away for other people’s used items. The app is similar to other local advertising apps, except it strictly involves trading items as opposed to buying or selling them.
Review: iTunes
Guess I should’ve let it have access to my friend’s list or something? After declining to follow a bunch of individuals during setup, I signed in and found…nothing. Searching for various keywords to test (“shoes”, “book”, “table”) results in nothing. Apparently, you HAVE to follow sellers or you don’t see anyone or anything. Which…how would buyers find me, if it’s just a bunch of sellers selling to each other? This isn’t YouTube, where your favourite artist or vlogger consistently has what you want; the point of a buying/selling app is to have free-for-all access to large categories or locations, not to follow this one lady who sold a pair of secondhand shoes that one time. Pointless app.
12. Stop, Breathe & Think
Stop, Breathe & Think, the app for meditation & mindfulness, has a unique approach that allows you to check in with your emotions, and then recommends short, guided meditations, yoga and acupressure videos, tuned to how you feel.
Meditation and mindfulness don’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. With the Stop, Breathe & Think app, you can tell the app how you’re feeling and receive suggested guided meditations to help you restore balance to your mind and body.
Review: iTunes
13. Debit & Credit
If you are looking for a personal finance app that is convenient, easy to use and at the same time has enough features, then Debit & Credit is the right app for you.
Use the app to create a new transaction within seconds, save locations at regular venues for fast recording, schedule transactions for the future, receive reports and even share your account data with other users of the app.
Unlike other popular apps such as Mint.com, this one doesn’t connect to any of your online bank accounts, so you have full control over all of your transactions as you use it.
Review: iTunes
This is a beautifully conceived app. It is well thought out and smartly laid out. I initially experienced some frustration owing to my own preconceptions derived from other apps I have used. Once you can clear your mind and accept the app for what it is things quickly begin to fall into place.
One of the keys for me was accepting the fact that paying off a credit card balance is actually a transfer of money from a cash account to a debit account rather than one of paying a bill. It’s simplicity veils the careful thought and design that makes it so useful. Well done and worthwhile!
14. Flipp – Weekly Shopping
If you’re an avid shopping deal hunter, Flipp is for you. This app tracks and updates deals and coupons based on item, brand or category so you can save money every time you go out to shop at your favorite stores.
“Flipp is the essential app for your weekly shopping.” Search circular deals and coupons by item, brand, or category to quickly find the best deals on your weekly essentials and make saving money super easy. Flipp is the only app that matches local circular deals with coupons from the brands you love to bring you the most savings.
Review: iTunes
This app is always current and it is so easy to use. Thanks!
15. Gumtree: Find Deals Near You
Buy & sell near you! Whether you’re selling furniture or looking for car parts, there’s something for everyone at Gumtree.
The app will use your location to show you local ads in categories that are easy to browse through. Save ads to your favorites so you can visit them later, post an ad yourself within seconds straight from your phone and use the handy messages feature to chat with other users you’re interested in doing business with.
If you ever want to change your location (or broaden its reach) to see more ads, all you have to do is tell the app the location and distance you want to include in your search.
Review: Trustpilot
Personally find it quite useful and have had a good experience. The star rating is useful to avoid bad sellers. Best to just give your email for communication. Great way to find deals for sale items.
16. magicplan
As easy as taking a picture: Floor plan creation with the awarded magicplan app is so precise, simple and fast. Create a floor plan with magicplan – and plan renovations with estimations, job costings and reports!
Whether you’re looking to renovate or simply refurnish a room in your home, Magicplan is an app that can help you plan the entire process out before you even start.
Review: G2crowd
What do you like best?
I love the ease of changing measurements once you have drawn the room out. The free-form room helps to get a strangely shaped room drawn relatively easy, it cuts out a few steps of changing square room, added in corners etc. changing the size of furniture is awesome as well.
What do you dislike?
I don’t like the fact that once you use a rug in a room it tries to lock the parameters and even if you unlock it tries to second-guess your second measurement.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I don’t like the fact that once you use a rug in a room it tries to lock the parameters and even if you unlock it tries to second-guess your second measurement.
17. Google Photos
Google Photos is a smarter home for all your photos and videos, made for the way you take photos today. You can set automatic backups for unlimited photos (up to 16 megapixels) and videos (1080p HD) completely free.
The app’s visual search feature also makes finding specific photos and videos faster and easier than you thought possible so you never have to waste time scrolling through hundreds or thousands of files.
Review:
What do you like best?
What do you dislike?
Lo único que Google Photos no puede hacer es editar fotos. Puede recortar y rotar, pero no puede hacer una edición avanzada.
Recommendations to others considering the product
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Permite compartir fácilmente fotos a través de teléfonos celulares (Android y iPhone) y computadoras. Podemos subir y compartir fotos ilimitadas, y es rápido en todas las plataformas para recibir comentarios en tiempo real.
18. Lifecake
If you’re a parent or a close family/relative of someone who has young children, you’ll want to check out Lifecake—a safe and secure platform for private sharing of family photos. Sometimes, Facebook just isn’t really the right place to be sharing those family moments.
Review: iTunes
Our daughter and her family recently moved to another state. Lifecake is a great way for us to see our granddaughter (11 months) growing up. It’s simple to maneuver and we love that you can leave comments on photos for others to respond.

Always know what’s happening on the road with Waze. Even if you know the way, Waze tells you instantly about traffic, construction, police, crashes, & more. If traffic is bad on your route, Waze will change it to save you time.
Citymapper is ideal for route planning but Waze is the app you’ll need if you want to seriously avoid the unpredictable obstacles that come with driving to any destination. Waze helps you avoid traffic jams, accidents, police traps and more in real time.
Review: Cnet
The Good
On the road, Waze excels in one very critical way: traffic accuracy. It also helps that the app is free and doesn’t require you to set up an account before using.
The Bad
The user interface is unattractive and can be difficult to use. Voice command is hidden in the menu.
The Bottom Line
For anyone looking for more reliable traffic data than Apple’s and Google’s stock maps applications, Waze is definitely worth a download.
